The Christmas cactus , redline 1:33, should be in the sun only when it is being forced to bloom for the Christmas season. Otherwise it should be kept in subdued light.
Still seem pricey compared to our North West Manchester charity shops but good by London prices. Like the car park/ cafe but I would want higher sides 😱😱
Here in Oregon USA, we have a Goodwill As-Is store that sells by weight. If you reach 20 lbs worth, your cost is $1.25 per pound. You have to rummage thru big tables and when they bring out new ones (every few hours or so) its total chaos but wonderful bargains can be had!
Peckham never used to be the way that you see it now. It was completely different but for the better due to regeneration and development. It’s git some nice places to go, and I do hope that the PeckhamPlex is in a lot not better condition the last time I went there. Lovely visit to the charity shops, it’s great that we’re still able to recycle, reuse and donate!

This makes me miss South London. I’ve found a fair few bargs recently. A 💯 linen Breton top from The White Company and a 100% cashmere Maxmara jumper which was a fiver.

I remember when Charity shops were really cheap. I do not think they are now. Rarely hold sale days. I stopped visiting them. Of course they have overheads but, it is big business now, not so much charity I am sad to say. The ones you are visiting are different, nice items, not worn out or chipped up!
I rarely find any bargains in charity shops - not my size, or not my taste etc, but I was looking for a white blouse for the summer, and spotted a good-as-new Mint Velvet one for £14.99 in a Shelter boutique store in North London. Retail price of around £70, so I’m happy with that!

Love that white sweater, it was so you and looks like cotton? be great for cool summer evenings and days leading into Autumn. Saw some vintage Pyrex in one of your shops, I am like Oooh vintage Pyrex pick that up!! Little cat you met along the way seemed to like you, he was a cutie wasn't he? I really loved looking round the charity shops. I'm always on the look out for a good bargain. A few months ago I got a white company candle in white lavender. This week I found a lovely dress for a wedding I'm going to next weekend.

Love looking round charity shops with you and like your choice of music. I'd not been for a while but went 3 days to various places this week. I usually get an armful of jigsaws, cds books and dresses, my best buy this week being a very summery dress for £3. Same labels in shops ridiculous prices and as for bobbly glasses just under £20 in very exclusive Farm Shop, haha. You are a great bargain hunter.
Enjoyed the pace and semi guided tour of Peckham with the added bonus of a good peruse of the charity shops. Want to hop on a flight and hit all your suggestions! 🍌 and a 🍷 with a view was a lovely ending. Thanks Mr C!

Two days ago, I found a wonderful heavy silver plated Brighton bangle bracelet with crystals going from pink to dark red at my Value Village here in Tacoma. I paid $9.99 for it. I think it would normally go for anywhere between $75 to $100. I can't believe it was priced at that amount and that anyone would have donated it in the first place. That rooftop bar looks fabulous and what views!

well that's fun, the number 12 bus runs through my neighborhood and will take you from Englewood civic center all the way to downtown Denver. cute shops, cafes and historic neighborhoods along the way, the 12 is a good bus to see some nice Denver.
Hi Mr Carrington, I did some thrifting in our area of South East London. I visited Crisis in Rye Lane. Aw I love cats. I also want to visit the Bussy building and try out some of their restaurants.
Some great charity shops , I got a ornament a few weeks ago 2.99 and it was still on sale for 50£ in the original shop , love a bargain, you was good and didn’t buy a lot Xx
@@MrCarrington they must have closed the store since I moved to Norfolk, there was one there about 10 or so years ago. I know their main store is in Penge about a mile from St Christopher’s.

Have you thought about going to car boots? They are great fir getting some really good items so cheap! We have seven charities that we support and once a year we change one up. So yes, we do support charities. 👍💗

I loved the sideboard in the first shop you went in and £150 was a reasonable price. I have been busy donating to thrift shops so havent shopped as such but I have looked. My best finds in the last 6 momths have been 2 new Villeroy & Boch Wave mugs and one has a London scene and the other Kingfishers (I know how much they cost new [£27 each] but I paid £2.50 each for them. Another great find was a Wedgwood Mantel clock which I use and I bought an Art Deco Uranium glass dressing table set which glows eerily under black light.

I believe that Pretty Green belongs to Liam Gallagher , I think he named it after a record by the jam. Pretty green is slang for cash.
