Every other "lawful good" paladin I've seen would never be able spto make a sentence that complex
well we never knew if she returned it or not. she could of used those earnings to pay the dwarf proper after she snuck it back in... really sounds more chaotic good but it all depends on the perspective of the DM.

Only then you realise that maybe you went a little too far with the purging. Well it's no problem, a simple purge will solve this problem! Just kill all the other races in the name of some other Goddes until there is nobody left and the Gods have to create all races again from scratches.

yeah, lawful good can be quite different depending on what you recognize as "Good" and what law you follow.
depends, if it's d&d it is 99% of the time dependant on the god you folow. And remember, some gods have som serious beef with eachother/servernts of eachother. A lawful good act under a god whom is anti "insert x species/alignment/culture/broad stroke generalisation" would be to genecide that group.
It is also why playing divine classes can be challanging for newer players with a DM who folow the rules propperly, since by the inuniverse rules and book: If you are lawful and a folower of x god, you FOLOW the rules. Small bendings can be adjusted, but you play your character folowing the damn rules you belive in. And this will hit newer players hard. Wich is why almost noone plays divine classes correctly, OR have homebrewed/self erataed away 90% of the rules.
A lawful good cleric of kelemvor who does not annialate the undead on sight, might suddenly lose all his powers/ some of his powers, due to how kelemvor's stance on the undead. aka a hardline anti stance. If kelemvor could, he would eradicate it all NO EXEPTIONS (same applies to ANNY extension of life that is unnatural).
So take a benevolent good person whom is the only thing keeping an entier contry together. A cleric/paladin of kelemvor would without anny regrett/thought slay that person, for extending his life unnaturaly over it's due. Since it is to blaspheme the cycle of life and death to go outside the natural order. ALL sould SHOULD be flowing throu the fuge plaine and be judged to eaither be sent to the wall (where all whom have not swore their soul to a god/lost their god) suffer for eternity. Or be found worthy, and be sent along to their god's divine kingdom.

@@gampie13 Of course, but there’s still the “lawful good, not lawful stupid” thing - 99% of the time a deity won’t punish you for not picking a fight you can’t win. Kelemvor wouldn’t punish a level 1 paladin for not trying to fight an ancient powerful lich immediately on sight, but he would likely punish them for not making it their primary goal to find a way to actually kill the lich eventually.

@@gampie13 Wanna have a laugh? In Pathfinder 2e there's a God in Golarion (Torag the smith) whose holy mandate can be read as genocide - "never show mercy to an enemy of your own race", An Orc and Dwarf, both clerics or paladins of Torag, will most probably kill each other on sight.
Remember kids, just because you are a Paladin doesn't mean you can't be a loot goblin.

Eh... I'd say it depends on whether Goblins are monsters or a race in your setting. In Goblin Slayer, Goblins are *very much* monsters, thus their representation makes sense. As there's typically not meant to be a whole lot of depth to your monsters.
Worst part is, I can perfectly imagine a paladin using that kind of logic

1. Lawful Good (when you're obsessively trying to be a hero)
2. Chaotic Evil (when you're deliberately acting like a deranged lunatic)
3. Chaotic Neutral (when you're actually making decisions honestly)
Chaotic good (when you want to be a hero but laws limit you to much)
