Indivisible and Exist Archive are both spiritual successors to the original Valkyrie Profile. Absolutely one of the best RPGs ever made and worth seeking out though it's pricey. Curious why you collect laser discs? I assume most of those animes are Japanese only and I would guess the quality isn't very good? I'm not very familiar with the format since it didn't take off much in the states. Do they come with booklets filled with art or are they mostly just simple record sleeves with a disc inside?
There is quite a few animes that only released on laser disk and never found its way to the west so that’s part of the reason I like collecting laser disk. The other reason is I really like the format. The art has lots of graphics and extras that just aren’t found other forms of media, and I think the art on the covers look amazing.
Can you recommend any good PS4 Japanese games that are only in Japan but have some English subtitles or languages? I like horror, rpg, fighting and shoot em and beat em ups. My daughter lives in Tokyo and she is coming back to the states in August for her break. She will be going to a couple of game stores in the area for me and want her to pick me up some games
Well city in shadows for sure . like I posted. There’s quite a lot of good visual novel games and RPG’s but the problem is is they all required Japanese I think most most fighting games. Came out in the west as well although I’m not 100% sure.

City Shrouded in Darkness reminds me of Disaster Report for PS2 except with giant monsters. Thanks for your PS4 suggestions :)
It’s actually a really fun game. I’ve been enjoying the hell out of it.
It is technically part of the Disaster Report series, just a spin-off. Super unique and underrated series.
I swear I remember it being made by the same people but I could be wrong tho.

Light fairytale episode 1 and 2 , cool classic style rpg got released in Europe physically, pretty sure it was made by a solo developer, quite obscure
