How has your experience been with this since install? I have essentially the same setup that I'm working on installing now (except I removed the stock shroud), have you had any issues with those plastic fan mounting ties breaking or damaging the radiator?

It has been awesome, no issues at all. I just had the whole assembly entirely out of the car and then reinstalled when I did my s52 swap. Everything in tact and no leaks 👌

Justin....with the CSF 3054 install on my M3 the radiator sits lower than the original....did you transfer the radiator rubber grommets on the original to the new radiator. Yours looks like it is sitting higher than mine. Thanks.

Yes, the rubber grommets were transferred.

Hi mate, i’ve just seend your video about installing the electric fan i i want to do the same thing. But i don’t understad what kind of thermostat i need to install to replace the OEM one and where i can buy it. Thanks! :)

You don't need to replace the OEM one, unless you want one that will turn the fan on at a lower temperature. It is the coolant temperature sensor, not the thermostat, that goes in the side of the radiator. Most BMW online stores will have one that turns the fan on at a lower temperature, say 80* Celsius for example.

Hey Justin, about to do this work to my car but just need to buy the lower temp fan switch. I have the 3 wire switch like you, do you have the part number for the switch itself? There are some that are 2 wire and 3 wire.

First! And I wish Justin still have his BRZ.

I wish I still had it too! But, I don't miss the payment or expense at all, wasn't worth it.

@@TheBTRGarage Totally understand. I've got 3.5 years left on my car note. Ugh. But still, thanks for all the great videos you've done on the BRZ. Very informative and inspirational. Learned a lot from you. Thanks, Justin!

Did you have any trouble installing the rubber grommets for the radiator? Mine seem to be small.

I don't remember having any issue with rubber grommets.

Are you going to do any work to the motor, cams, IMF?

Possibly, I do need more power to be on pace with the faster cars on my class. We will see though.

BTR Justin the 330s could hold their own; 325s weren’t super peppy.

6:42 what are these zip ties

Those are common tie straps for this type of thing, mine came with the fan kit. You can buy them separately here : amzn.to/3sx0kv7
