BMW E46 330ci Gets a CSF Radiator Upgrade!

Friend of MotoIQ Rachard Johnson, of FrshMedia, came by the shop to continue the restoration of his BMW E46 330ci. This time we get rid of the old plastic radiator and install a new CSF high performance radiator. Mike is gonna show him how it works and what makes it better than a lot of the other junk out there in the market :)

CSF is the shit 👍 They need to get more exposure, all I see is mishimoto on other YT channels and I think CSF is way better. I bought a "off brand" fmic off ebay for my EB mustang and it came with mishimoto stamped on the side 🤣

Should’ve upgraded the expansion tank, the thermostat housing and water pump to an all aluminum upgrade

What brand electric fan are you using? I have same radiator in my 330i and my Cool Xpert fan sits crooked. Any ideas?

I have this radiator in my e46 330ci and it is a great product. Really well made. One note. This will only work on manual cars. Automatic cars are not compatible with this radiator.

You can install them in an automatic equipped car, but you'll have to figure out how to hook up a fluid cooler for the ATF. I installed a Koyo Racing radiator in my automatic Baja Turbo and went with a B&M SuperCooler mounted in front of the AC condenser to cool the ATF.

There's a few issues with this from what I've researched the oil cooler on the auto is in the way and the clutch fan on the auto is also deleted on Mt 3series but if I'm correct if u can relocate the oil cooler and just wire a electric fan on the inside of the radiator use the stock expansion tank that'll do it 😀

18RG swapped but EFI so we got it to run with a simple ECU.
