- VP's MANSION: The long awaited official residence of the Vice President will be ready for occupation by December this year. The Ministry of Works anticipates to hand over the house in Karen to the Government by the 13th of December. The project that was started in 2006 will cost the taxpayer a total of 383 million shillings. And as Sheila Sendeyo reports, its not just a grandiose plan but a fitting dream house for the occupant of the Vice of the President.

Talk about a country with priorities
It hurts me so much to watch this while a common Mwananchi works hard to pay tax..and many poor people don't even have food to eat and have to live in crap houses..while a mare Kenyan VP intends to live in a palace..by the way in Germany Angela Merkel the Chancellor leaves in a normal maybe 2 or 3bedroomed apartment within the city..our Kenyan MPs are so lucky since they even earn more than the European ministers..God Bless Kenya!
