In terms of story this game definitely delivered, especially considering all the hype and theorising going on at the time. Listening to those old tape recordings, the between night mini games showing the backstory and discovering all the secrets, watching the spirits have a birthday party and finally move on to the afterlife, this game was full of content and it was amazing experiencing it back when it launched. The difficulty was just right, if you weren’t following tutorials on how to find the secret mini games you needed to be able to take your eye off Springtrap without instantly dying for it so you could search for secrets and click on things. If you cheated and looked it up, yeah, it’d seem like the game was too easy but that’s what happens when you cheat, the difficultly goes down! I know one of the other main criticisms is the jumpscares and while I loved the hallucination ones (especially Freddy in the hallway), I do think Springtrap needed to be taller for his jumpscare to truly work, or rather, the perspective of the player should be from lower down. In every other game you seem to be sitting at a desk, and while I’m sure you’re meant to be sitting in FNAF3 the perspective of the room isn’t correct/believable for that perspective, if that makes sense. I wouldn’t change the animation or audio, just the camera angle. If he towered over you he’d definitely be more frightening.

For the people that dont like the game: There's the chilling moment in this game where you KNOW where your dead. Where he runs in front of the window, or peeks his head in front of the door. Its freakin AWESOME!

They are honestly so unnerving and characteristic of this frachise that they shouldn't go away, so I'm hoping they'll find a place for them, even in such a futuristic setting. Edit: It would be pretty cool to see Shadow Freddy again, too.

And I know this sounds crazy, but in sister location two technicians hang themselves. So maybe shadow freddy and bonnie are their spirits? Who knows.

Listening to your lore bits here, I do have a bit to add to them. Yes, the spirits of Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, and Foxy were set free during this game. However, part of these spirits had already been inside of the Funtime animatronics. That is why you need Molten Freddy to be there during FNAF 6.

The light in freddy’s head looks like a monocle so literally until now I always thought it was a monocle when it’s a light when they use the heads to light up the attraction

I was never a fan of FNAF 3 when it first came out, I thought it was confusing and I didn't really understand the story, and didn't see much of the mini games because I never revisited it after people started figuring it out.
Now that we are seeing the mini-games in order, and have a better understanding of the story and the gameplay, the lore that happened in this game makes more sense.

@William Afton Yeah to be fair we still don’t know who exactly shadow freddy and bonnie are. I personally think that they’re lost spirits or something like that. And I know this sounds crazy, but in sister location two technicians hang themselves. So maybe shadow freddy and bonnie are their spirits? Who knows.

I sometimes play Fnaf and I love Fnaf 3 pretty much the most. I think about it more often than the other games.
FNaF 3 is my favorite FNaF game xdxdxd
Its crazy how much info in the phone calls I didn't pay as close attention to when it first came out. Stuff that greatly contributes to the lore. Dawko, you always do an amazing job explaining the lore and to this day (ever since FNAF first came out) are my favorite FNAF TH-camr :)

Listening to your lore bits here, I do have a bit to add to them. Yes, the spirits of Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, and Foxy were set free during this game. However, part of these spirits had already been inside of the Funtime animatronics. That is why you need Molten Freddy to be there during FNAF 6.
I love how William Afton just comes out of the wall when Golden Freddy gets dismantled
