Kasey, thank you so much for this video. I'm refitting a 43 year old sailboat that didn't have a holding tank/system, let alone a macerator. Your video is how-to gold for me right now! Cheers, Jackie
That's so awesome! I still have the hunter, some serious leaks around the centerboard mount have it out of the water though. Our current plan is to fix that (and other issues) and sell it to the next couple to enjoy. Bitter sweet
I actually really paid attention to this...good job. I learned from it.

So glad to hear that!
Great idea with your portable vice
Been following you since the Hunter 26 centerboard woes. Al and Tina from Gainesville FL

How far above the holding tank can you install the macerator?
Did it smell pretty bad when undoing the hose? And was it a messy job or not really because you emptied everything prior?
Actually it didn't smell at all. I really expected some kind of residual smell, but nothing. I guess I flushed it out well enough
@@KaseyDoesThings good to know cause that’s what I’m dreading most!
Hey Kasey, thanks for the video. May I know, where did you buy the pump and how much was it?
You're welcome! And shoot I can't remember.. I thought it was between 100 to 200. And then the new hoses were not that cheap though.
I think the owner got it on Amazon lol. I'm not much help I know.. it was quite a few projects ago
It would have been easier to use the sawzall and cut off the hose.
Replace lines
Yes! 😂
The white house is cheaper then black 10 year waste hose .
