I wonder if k.d. lang knows how much people love her, just the way she is. Besides being a fantastic singer, she is a down to earth and humble human being.
I saw her in concert in Melbourne, Australia about five years ago and she came to Australia for the BlazeAid concert after the bushfires a couple of years ago. She was magnificent. One of the few performers who sound as good in concert as they do on albums.
KD could sing anything and with anybody, and she was a beautiful person, even though her feet must have smelled with those F-ing Birkenstocks. Beside the point, since that duet with Tony Bennet, was wonderful. I watched the tribute show where KD sang it to Tony alone, this makes it all seem so more special. You should have sang with Louis, but I think you already have.
