It is 100% true that you hear someone compare s fragrance to something (sometimes unflattering) and then you smell it yourself and can't forget it. Just this morning I was listening to another fragrance content creator start talking about the scent I am wearing, and low and behold... it makes her think of baby throw up. 🤦♀️ I'm trying to shake that off!

I have a few gourmands, but not a lot. Today I happen to be wearing Pierre Guillaume’s Myrrhiad, which is such a warm comforting, almost-gourmand scent. The notes are black tea, myrrh, and vanilla - sooooo good!

Jax.. I called the Kilian boutique in Las Vegas again and they still don't have a release date for the new Angel's Share flanker but she said "for sure" sometime before 🎄 Christmas which means November or December. She said "call back in a month". 🎁
My very favorite gourmand I have ever owned is Black Opium Le Parfum. I just finished a 1.6 oz bottle of that this morning. I got that bottle from Ebay, was supposed to be BO Extreme and she sent the wrong one, which really turned out to be a very happy accident. I'll have to look for another bargain because I refuse to spend more than $45 for any perfume. I've since bought a 5 mil sample of the Extreme version from Scents Angel and love that one, too, but the Le Parfum hits the right spot. I find that I don't like pistachio (never even ate one so it was not a familiar scent when I got Khair Pistachio, not a fan) nor do I like chocolate or cherry in my perfumes. Caramel, vanilla and coffee are my favorite gourmand notes. Creme Brulee sounds right up my alley. My newest purchase is Lattafa Nebras and I think I like that one a lot, but need to wear it more. I have not eaten sweets in about five years, though I used to be 100% a sugar addict; I guess this is my indulgence, the scent of sweets if I can't have the taste. ~ Cynthia

@@VeronicaSays It's easy when you're not hungry and eat only nutrient dense foods like beef, eggs and butter. I've been mostly carnivore for years now, no more weight issues and a host of other benefits. No cravings.

I guess I am not really a gourmand person, but I do love Choco Violette, and I just bought Montblanc Signature and got a compliment right out of the gate! Fave gourmand of the moment is Gioiosa - Profumum Roma. To me, it's a little bit dry at first, but it lives for DAYS on clothes and dries down to smell like vanilla buttercream frosting. I like to spray it on my hang around the house sweater- yummy :)

looked at my collection to drop my fav gourmand but they’re not really my thing as well! Closest would be Lush’s American Cream it smells like a tub of frosting inside the lush store. Also love Tobacco Pod which I sampled and bought off your recommendation in an older video. Sooo vanilla-y with tobacco

🍫🍫🍫 I just ordered Glow and Bake. I recently started getting into citrus gourmands and I think Bake and Lira have been my faves so far. Unknown Pleasured smelled like lemon flavored gasoline on my skin which was such a shame. I also agree that glow resembles Gentle Fluidity Gold a little bit. I do think Bon Perfumes Divine Vanille is almost spot on with GFG. Great video!

I’m loving lemony vanillas, too! Just wishing they would last longer. Love and Crime is on my wish list. Don’t love the opening as much as Lira, but it seems to smell very similar after a few minutes, and I’ve heard it projects better than Lira.

My favorite gourmand would have to be Panettone. Esp in Nov and December, then probably Angel share and I still enjoy coffee fragrances… in Oct I wear Kerosene Follow, but I only wear it for about 4-6 weeks then put it away.. so I don’t get sick of it. I do love unknown pleases too….But I adore gourmands and wear them all the time. I probably could wipe myself down with cotton candy and be happy about it…. I’m so glad you did this. I’m almost tired of gourmands or I’m just not crazy about them. I love Lost Cherry, D&G Devotion and Cheirosa 62 & 71. Mont Blanc Signature will always be a favorite!! I’ve tried many others but just don’t want to smell like food!😂 I said it about driving to work in my scrubs with my morning coffee and nothing made me more upset than spilling any amount on me!! I smelled coffee all day! Most times I’d get a pair of hospital scrubs to make my 12 hours not so torturous to me! It will not come out until it’s washed! I’m sorry!! Didn’t mean to ruin it for you but I can’t do actual coffee smells!! Have a great weekend!!❤

The person I had in mind specifically said Coffee Addict made them feel that way, so don't feel bad - you didn't ruin it! Although I could see wanting to change if you spilled coffee on yourself. I love Akro Bake! Can’t get enough of that sweet, creamy lemon. My favorites fall fragrances are Candy by Prada, that caramel really gets me and the #71 by Sol de Janeiro, although it’s a body spray it’s long lasting and cozy, great scent for cold weather 🍫 I love your videos, Veronica! Feels like having brunch with a good friend 😊

I have looked often at House of Oud but still don’t own a bottle from the house. Caramel Pop is currently scratching my popcorn itch but maybe I’ll get a bottle from the house one day ✨

🍫 As a specifically autumn gourmand fragrance Vanilla Sky (Skylar), for me, checks all the scent note boxes: cappuccino ✅, vanilla ✅, caramel ✅, amber ✅, sandalwood ✅, apart from the very slight orange/floral in the background. ☕️

The Cabanel offering calls to me: something elegant and yet gourmand. I also have an inspired of Coquin de Guerlain :) I can only imagine the veritable Gourmand Coquin de Guerlain boasting the unparalleled House DNA.
Great description of Cafe Cabanel! I had the Julianna's Perfumes dupe of Gourmand Coquin called Call Me By Your Name and it was quite nice, but it wasn't the same. I prefer the original.

Fave gourmand would probably be Minuit et Demi by Fragrance du Bois - a bit of chocolate, a bit of coffee, lots of smooth creaminess and a gentle sweetness. It's gourmand but not too foodie, and comes off as a beautiful, cozy fragrance. Gourmand perfection! 🍫

Hi Veronica I have the 62 perfume also and if you have the reformulated version it isn’t quite exact fragrance with the cream but very close and much stronger! I layer those and get about 5 hours! I think they reformulated about two years ago

I’m sipping on lemon water as we have a heatwave this weekend🥵🥵. Lost Cherry is lovely and I layer it with Cherries & Cheers body butter from the Body Shop🍒🍒. I also love Panettone, Lira, Devotion, Bianco Latte, Cafe Cabanel, La Danza Del Libellule, Accident A La Vanille, Sol Cheirosa edp and Vanilla Royale Sugared Patchouli❤️❤️. I picked up Amore Caffe towards the end of our winter and it is so delicious 🍦☕️😋. Stay gorgeous🥰🥰

Yes! I need to get my nose on Akro Bake. I have Lira and Devotion, so I thought getting Bake would be too redundant. Of all three frags, which would you prefer and would getting Bake be too redundant? Either way, I love that scent profile.
It depends. They each have difference nuances. Right now Akro is my fave but Devotion is a strong competitor. 😊

Veronica ❤🌹🙌 Amore Caffe sounds right up my alley as far as coffee fragrances go. My favorite gourmand combo is Zara Cherry Smoothie and Coco Musk plus Chocolate Greedy oil spray! Together they smell like chocolate covered cherries 🍒 😋 Cheirosa 62 body spray is also one of my favorites.

Lost cherry last for more than 16 hrs I even get compliments end of my 12 he shift. One of the doctors even said you smell so good what are you wearing. He said everyone you pass by smells so good . He even said just walk up and down the unit so spread the scent. lol.

Another cherry I like is Black Opium over Red. I’ve never smelled the Tom Ford’s cherry. But I love his Tobacco Vanilla. That perfume started me on this journey but it’s expensive 💸
