If I see someone who is rocking the hell out of an eyeshadow look and it's colourful and not neutral I always say something! I get the most comments and compliments on my eye looks from the students I work with so I say be the best more fun dental person girl!
Sydney Grace is my favorite indie brand. But I really love the Dominique Cosmetics Berries & Cream and Latte palette, Sigma Untamed and DOC Friendcation palette 😍I think I’m still stuck in 2018😂
I think that Gold palette is better than the new Gold ND palette, as there are different pops of colour in it, the new one is just all 'gold'... i dont like the Warm either, i like cool tones better, so Glam and her own 'perfect' selection are much better, and yeah, the Alter palette dupes are really good... so you can still get the old 'gold' version with them.
“Why does my brain think of the things? Probably because I read too many smutty books” the way I SPAT out my drink 💀 I’ve never related to anything more.
Hi Steph I don’t buy that many palettes and I have barely dipped my toe into indie shadows. I love makeup but I’m 52 and truthfully I love a more muted eye look nowadays. When I was younger I was the queen of a smoky eye and loved punchy metallic or sparkly shades. They just don’t look good on my more textured eyelids anymore unfortunately 😢and softer shades look better on me overall. Also formula has become an essential category as I need it to look smoother on the lid. My current two favourites from mainstream brands are Dior and Viseart with the silver essential palette from Dior being my most used palette of the year. I’m extremely cool toned and the shades just work really well for me. The other thing I got into this year is K beauty eyeshadow and specifically Rom&nd palettes. Their matte formula is excellent for the price and I tend to pair a favourite single shimmer with those (too much glitte in K beauty shimmer shades tbh). The dusty fog garden was a favourite for neutral basics and here is where I used duochromes etc in the centre of the lid with really good success. Best wishes x
I highly recommend that you check out Sydney Grace. Most of their palettes lean towards more nuetral color stories, but all of their formulas are phenomenal. And most of their shimmers/metallics are that more silky and smooth formula that is better for mature eyes, but are still absolutely stunning and impactful in a really sophisticated way.
I really feel like ND I need a nude palette is mainly based on “nude lids”. Like the matte colors can pass on most skin as the colors your eyelids would be without any makeup on. Like straight eyelids. And then the shimmers are mostly ALMOST translucent to give that “nude/no makeup” base the glossy dewy look. Like a true take on being nude not just neutral looks. That’s just my take on it.
Girl you need to start wearing colourful looks to work. I work in a physical therapy clinic and my patients love my makeup and they tell me all the time they look forward to seeing what I'll be wearing! There is no such thing as "work appropriate".
Girl those Glaminatrix palettes Super BAD ASS, 🎉🎉❤🎉🎉😂🙏 👍🏻

Also I'm so sorry but I have to help you. Viseart Soleil La Plage - the "g" is a softer g. Think the G at the beginning of Givenchy! 😘

I love how you unapologetically love brown eyeshadows bc I do too and most people talk about brown shadows like they are boring- as if!! lol

I’ve been really eyeing a lot of the ensley reign palettes I feel like I can justify the price if the formula is really that good

Love the video❤ right now I'm all about indie brands and the eyeshadows they make❤ to me nothing else compares❤❤❤
Steph you could do a review of your favourite blue brown shakes in a range of palettes
I'm always talking about the Dose of Colors She's a 10 palette. That one has my heart. It's a neutral with a twist and has the most amazing formula.
That eye look is amazing!😍💕 What palette did you use?? Also, current fave indie brands ER, BBB, Glaminatrix and Fantasy Cosmetica 🥰💜
Same!! ❤❤❤🙏 😊 🙏 💯
That eye wink cracked me up 😆 I think we get what you mean 😉
Great choices, Ensley reign are my favs too
Mind in the gutter, lol. My mind always jumps to the dirty/twisted thought. I read a lot of books 📚 so thats my excuse, lol. 😊😂🤣
