    regional also runs about 120 mph through rhode island today doug near providence, which goes at 150 mph exactly today, there are much fewer trains on the line though due to jim burnham's lovely travel expenses in his own words, the masters golf tournament is about 10 under par in general would be my guess for Tiger Woods, and probably likely to win this year regardless of where i am.

    I've rode that bus #252 before it was a Ex Dallas area rapid transit bus before Rochester city lines and then transervice great American trolley company between 2015 and 16 allen from the great American trolley company drive that bus before it had a accident with the car and the old 6V92 TA analog Detroit Diesel engine was shot I've feel bad for that bus because it take me back when I was a kid riding the NJ transit mci mc9A and mc9B commuter coaches now that bus is sitting for repairs I've missed that bus #252 that is too a commuter coach it's a mci 102 A3 commuter coach as well as the 96A3 commuter coach that bus is amazing to me

  • @dougd120
    @dougd120 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    in terms of running normal service on the northeast corridor would be great so that at least 10 acela trains will run tomorrow at 150 mph through rhode island at the exact speed on the clock, regional also can go that fast on the curve at 80 mph+70 mph which adds up to 150 mph in smooth sections on regional.

    I've never seen one before the only single axle motor coach industries buses I've seen is the mci mc5A & mc5C mc9 crusader ii single axle buses from bonanza bus lines liberty lines buses and greyhound lines inc had two of them 4198 4199 mci 96 or 102 A2 shortline grayline safety bus and other bus companies had those rare mci buses thats something new

    • @engineersdash
      @engineersdash 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Calvin Crews I remember the single axles that Bonanza had. Greyhound had a few also around the time Bonanza had theirs.

  • @dougd120

    the average speed is about 60 mph, which is likely if the danbury diesel runs regularly

  • @dougd120

    Very Nice Indeed For A 35 Footer. Last Time MCI Made A 35 Footer (Not Including Dina) Was In The Late 1960's With The MC-5A If I'm Not Mistaken. The Engine On Take Off Sounded Like A Gillig Advantage Bus With A Cummings ISL10 Engine. Great Video.

    • @BusTVChan

      @dejohn913 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      etpslick100 Was That Bus Based Off The Dina Viaggio 1000 43 Footer ? But I Do Remember Those Buses.

    • @etpslick100
      @etpslick100 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      dejohn913 I think it was, but it was 35 feet. They had maintenance issues and that’s why the Temsa 35 took off. I think Academy Bus Tours brought about 500 Temsa 35’s @ the time.

  • @MrBNARick
    @MrBNARick 5 ปีที่แล้ว

    Hmmm... reminiscent of the F3500 (Dina) in the early 2000's introduced with great fanfare, especially as a shell for the Motorhome/Entertainer coach industry and then BOOM!!! Nevermind we changed direction on 35 foot buses. I'll be excited if this remains in production for more than 3 years that the F3500 was.'

  • @dougd120

    And now NJ transit is getting rid of the rest of the Detroit Diesel Series 60 and caterpillar C13 powered mci commuter coaches such as the D4000 and the D4500 buses from 2000 -08 and replace them with the new commuter coaches with the Cummins ISX 12 engines with WB 500 R Gen V Allison Transmissions you should come to Camden Walter Rand Transportation Center to check out these newer buses and newton Avenue garage they still have mci D4000 commuter coaches before they go out of commission one of those buses is a demonstrator #7501 it needs to be preserve for future collection before it gets scraped it's a 1999 mci 102 D3 commuter coach the first of them all and it's 19 years old

    • @Giologico95
      @Giologico95 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      @juanzingarello4005 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      This bus is the latest 35 foot model. I wish MCI went back to making Bus shells too. Now only Prevost dominates the bus shell market for making motorhomes and entertainer coaches. The Prevosts are nice busses but from a reliability standpoint, nothing beats the MCIs.

  • @christianggomez8141

    Looks like Mexico buses such Irizar, Volvo, Marcopolo, among others.

    • @EpicThe112
      @EpicThe112 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Those are also seen in the state of California easily identifiable by two license plates right side Mexican license plate left California Apportioned plates. Irizar and Marcopolo buses use Scania Opticruise transmission because there are higher elevation areas in the West Coast For Example Tijuana-Bakersfield-Fresno has to go across the San Andreas Fault Line at Tejon Pass 4,144 ft elevation 900-200 ft higher than NJ High Point and Mount Davis PA.

    there are over 10 dates you father has to date 10 executives who speak german language in detroit and he doesn't need to be working 100% unless you claim so, because you have spoken to have a few times when new rochelle to stamford takes 20 mins on 4 or 2, but doesn't matter which one it is, but 4 still is the same as 2 to stamford, except there is no problem with a 20 IQ in new rochelle that goes at 30 mph.
