That’s exactly how I got the storm blue union’s and TS 1’s. Sold pairs that I could get my hands on to get something better.
Here's the thing: AF1 for life for sure but it really really hurts paying over a certain amount for them. So it is a drop, solely based on the price.

These might be one of my favourite shoes of all time
Nice but not for over retail, the AF1 is probably the least interesting Off White x Nike release in terms of what he's done with the design. The AJ1 was the best IMHO followed closely by Presto original and AM90. If I was lucky enough to win these I'd definitely rock them, sadly haven't won a single Off White x Nike release raffle yet.

If these were GR and didn't have Virgil's name tied to them...an all baby blue AF1 would end up in Nike Outlets...that's what I think about before I make a purchase like this...if I think "without the hype and the limited availability would these shoes go on sale" and I think these would....

I got my self a pair but the foam on the out side peels off when you take them on and off a lot which really sucks but all in all they are really worth the hype!
All my favorite Jordan’s are general releases, the ones he played in. I don’t get caught up in the hype of collabs and shit so there’s no way I would trade/sell 10 pair of shoes to acquire these. No gym shoe is worth 2,000 to me. I only own two pair of Air Force 1s and those are ones I bought recently, the white and blue high top sheeds from the 04 piston champion team and some all white highs to rock with my LeBron lakers jersey, before that I hadn’t even bought a pair of Air Force 1s since 2010.
I have the black version of these and honestly I like the black ones more
I feel like somebody at Nike is following all the custom shoe pages on Instagram and following their trends. I've seen so many customizers do this all over baby blue
I got these from the SNKRS stash in Chicago the other day and I can indeed say they are worth it. Each color of the city's flag is there, with the red zip tie representing the stars, the light blue as the stripes and the white shoelaces for the background of the flag. These shoes ARE worth it! I paid $150 but I would certainly drop at least $1k on them. Also, I think Nike may just keep this one limited to Chicago, since the shoe was designed for his exhibit here.

Leather quality on these is A1.... but I can’t justify the current price at all. Deadstock they look incredible but forces just don’t age well like other sneaker models.

Coming from a TRUE Nike Air Force one fan I can say these are trash but I would have to see them in person and have them in hand. Most people are copping these to resale. That’s why these are hyped up. Not because people truest like the shoe to wear
I love the shade of blue but I gotta say.... I agree with some other people who've posted here saying that these would sit if these weren't off whites. It just seems kinda plain for an off white design. Love the stitching on the swoosh and the exposed foam lining but that's really it. I would've loved to see more detail within the paneling, maybe another color for some contrast instead of the entire upper/midsole/outsole being that shade of UNC blue. UNC Blue is my favorite color so it's dope but I just think this shoe is missing that sort of iconic deconstructed look of the off white series. It doesn't have that same "depth" as some of the other iconic off white shoes like the jordan 1s, and others from the 10 collection had with the different materials, modified paneling, etc. Even some of the other air force 1s I've seen by virgil look better than these.
Having the TS low 1’s I’m gonna say TS ones right now. If the Off White MCA drops soon I think the resell will go up on them. Both are dope. Wait till they drop a Off White AJ 4... internet will break. Thanks for the review.

The hype on this one are pure marketing effect. If u even have a touch of taste u would'nt like this sneaker: that blue is ugly (almost impossible to get good looking fits with this colorway) , the color of the swoosh is simply wtf, the AF itself its an uncomfortable sneaker and, overall, the classic Off White touches simply doesnt work on these as they worked on all the previous models of The Ten. So it is worth the hype? Hell no!

This can be easily quantified... MCA dropped less than 6k pairs thus far snd its going for ~2k while travis dropped like 40-60k pairs and are couple hundreds under... if MCAs remaining pairs release, it will go down some more. TS1s are/were way more hyped than MCA easily.
