@@phaseshift943 you can remove the tie if you choose but please don’t cut it. The shoe was intended to be worn with the tie but some prefer the way it looks without it. Regardless, you would be ruining the shoe by cutting the tie; simply remove it.
Yo Seth, I’m currently hoarding a dead stock pair but want to know if the shoelace text wears off an if I should clear coat or crep it before wearing them. I’ve heard some people have this problem but I don’t know if theirs are fake or something.
Probably the most unpopular opinion but my number one is still the white version. I ordered my UNC from stockx a couple days ago so I am gonna compare it to my Chicago when it comes in. But I do like the UNC colors.

The gaudy, self-satisfying Helvetica writing ALL OVER the medial side of the shoe completely ruins this entire collection IMO. I love almost every other detail on these but that, “Shoelaces” and the “Air” kill it for me. We get it Virgil. We get it.
