This does a ton of damage and has a ton of CC in Distracting Throw. It's a strict upgrade to Staff + Dagger Deadeye (it even has less animation lock!)
Expect nerfs.
This weapon has a much easier time adjusting rotation for CC vs Sotym's Axe Power Quickness rotation: • qDE 42,749 , but axe does more damage.
Basic rotation: combo 2A/3B/2C for damage. Every 10 seconds, use skill 4 after the 2C finisher for a 10% damage buff. Stealth attack to refill Initaitive. Cast Cantrips for more F2s to access Stealth.
Skills must be used in correct order. Stealth Attack only refills initiative when it follows 3C. If skill 4 is used after 3C, then it counts as a Lead Attack (i.e. it replaces skill 2A).
Defiant enemies always take max damage from 2C Falling Spider. The rest of the conditional-requirements on the Spear skills must actually be met for the bonus effects, but most of those come free when playing with other people in group.
This build is fun, fast paced, allows improvisation, has lots of goodies (lifesteal, boonstrip, block), and has good cleave (2C Falling Spider is amazing, Thief has never had strong 240-radius 5-target cleave like this!)

The problem this time is just that the trait design of Quickness Deadeye assumes that it does not have the same Initiative throughput as Maleficent Seven. The two new weapons change that, so the damage gap between Support and DPS Deadeye is shrinking.

Yes it's good for every Condition version of Thief. Core, all elite specs, quickness, alacrity. Incera will post benchmarks soon.
