Alter Bridge is a fantastic band so it's cool that Edge can show them to new listeners by using their music.
Although I love his entrance music, I've never looked them up or heard another one of their songs that I'm aware of lol

Alter Bridge had nothing to do with the “You Think You Know Me” thing. Alter Bridge was just the song Metalingus.
WWE was using “You Think You Know Me” years before, Edge was in vignettes before he debuted and the “You Think You Know Me” was in those vignettes and was all WWE.
So WWE own the “You Think You Know Me” intro. And Alter Bridge own the Metalingus song.

I'm not the biggest Edge fan in the world, but in my humble opinion, this is one of the two best ring entrance names of all time. Christian's old theme, "Just Close Your Eyes", is a close second.

Fun fact, for those that don’t know much about who Mark Tremonti is, he is also known for being the guitar player of Creed. The more you know 🌈
Yeah Alter Bridge is just Creed with a new vocalist, as far as band members go. Mark Tremonti himself, though, is incredibly talented. Not only was he a founding member of Creed and Alter Bridge, but he also has a solo project called Tremonti which is worth a listen.
AlterBridge isn’t ’just’ Creed with a different singer…
They play entirely different, and more musically interesting music than Creed.
And a much much better singer who also plays a tastefully mean guitar and writes half the songs and most of the lyrics. Meanwhile - lead guitarist Mark Tremonti practiced lead guitar 24/7 after Creed ended and is now recognized as top 5 heavy guitar player of the 2000’s because of AlterBridge and his work in his namesake band side project.

What an amazing partnership this was and still is. By having their banger of a track tied to the top heel at the time with the most TV time, Alter Bridge reached an audience much bigger and wider than they had.

That’s one of the reasons why edge is my favorite wrestler
I discovered this song through wrestling and I always wondered who Alter Bridge was, but never looked into it as a kid. Fast forward a decade later, I met my best friend. His favorite band? Alter Bridge and he goes “Hey isn’t there a wrestler who comes out to an Alter Bridge song?” We both said “metalingus” at the same time, and we’ve been friends ever since. Even saw Edge’s entrance live.
Hopefully someone found this story as cool as we do lol. If not, my bad.
Edges music is A1 definitely one of the best tracks but if they didn’t add “you think you know me” it definitely might not be the same
