Havent built mine yet. Probably help it stop floating right down the strip, do you have some numbers for the mix. On my Canadian I fitted trailing link gear all around with larger wheels def helps with the rough stuff.

Hi,I'm using Futaba ,the value I have set is 8 clicks of down trim at idle ,I would trim model at half to full throttle for level flight and then count how many clicks of down trim are needed on a glide.
You can then check the model when stationary to see how much to mix in.

That's a really interesting discovery. Does that mean that the thrust line is a bit wonky (assuming that without mix it's trimmed to fly straight and level at half throttle)?
How do you find the wheels on landing? A club-mate has a previous version and while he takes off using the wheels, he belly lands it because he's had the retracts rip out on grass patches.

I have heard that it might be to do with air intakes but I honestly couldn't say.
It would be nice to compare a few and see if they all do it or just ours

I picked up some trailing link landing gear from a friend, he told me they were from HK and he bought them to fit his V1 Vampire when released in 2017? It was suggested as an option. Nose wheel is the same diameter but the mains are larger, I've subsequently swapped the nose for a larger wheel variant. from Aliexpress. nose retracts without an issue, mains need some foam bashing. grass length can be an issue but speed may also be a facto,r from videos it can almost just plop down and stop
