How to Fix a Snapped or Broken Key

- In this video, I show you how to repair a snapped key. The key is for a Volkswagen Golf, but this method can be applied to all types of keys, provided that the pattern that interacts with the lock pins is not excessively damaged.

Does it work for the sensor keys as well?
Yes, it does. I would advise separating your key to keep the blade separate from the electronic side, if it is possible for your key.

I used a mini torch to solder , the electrical one is hot enough .

@@mrsinghsgarage Your're actually right , you have to work precise to not melt the plastic, i'm used to it, because I'm a goldsmith.
