The evolved clock lancet makes that colorful thing you saw. It happens every full rotation and halves the current hp of all enemies on screen.
Does it half hp the reaper?
Probably, it would've taken way longer to kill the reaper if it didn't
@@imperatacylindrica8993 just got to the end of the video and yea.. killing reaper at 100+ in less than a minute, im pretty sure its working

Ok so...as far as I experimented the following is needed to UNLOCK:
- Pummarola
- Clover
- Skull o' Maniac
(Also worked with Spinach instead of Skull o' maniac so you might simply need 3 items picked up from the map!)
Only works when you pick it up on the map!
Level up items do not count.
Blue Pies starts to spawn every 2 seconds and you need to pick them up (ALL OF THEM) --> Going in 1 direction solves missing one accidentally)
If the dark mage spawns you did well. Now you only need to kill it. He is tanky but relatively slow.
I also recommend going in hyper mode with red death so you can get the pick ups early. Also get attract orb max level before picking up your 3rd map item. So getting the Blue Pies are far easier.

If people don't know what the dark mage is, it looks like a shadow wizard, so hopefully you see that sprite after about 4-5 minutes (maybe less) of picking up pies.
He is slow, but he hits hard. As reaper, this isn't a big problem. I probably took about 10 minutes, maybe a little more, trying to kill him.
I had;
-Death Spiral
-Mannajja
-Fire Wand
-Thunder Loop
-Clock Lancet
-Laurel
He CANNOT be time stopped. Laurel helps a lot with avoiding his attacks. He will die eventually with whatever weapon(s), I did NOT have Lancet or Laurel evolved.
The Attractorb helps A LOT with picking up pies, so thanks for that helpful tip. I do recommend Empty Tome as well, because even with a large cooldown reduction, it took me about 10-13 minutes.

I don't think you need all of them. I accidently unlocked him without getting 100. I picked up 20 - 30 at best.
@@Mark_Oskar yeah that could be the case. I had attract orb and a ton of effects on so I couldn't see well. But if you go for all of them u cant miss it xD

No. You don't need to get all the pies. I got him while missing a buttload, however, if you will notice, pies always spawn in a specific direction and will lead you northwest, somewhere left of the hollow heart. I think he spawns once you pick up the level passives, the pies just lead you to him.
The unlock conditions only seem to check for the skull and pummarola pickups (not entirely sure whether you *NEED* the map pickups or can just get them from levelups instead, leaning towards the former).
There's a 2s timer which spawns a total of 100 "pies" but seemingly using the same item ID as regular chickens. You need to pick up 100 "chickens" to spawn the boss so I'm not entirely sure whether you need to pay attention and eat all the pies, or simply eat a total of 100 pies _or_ regular chickens. No idea whether choosing chicken on levelup counts either.
Evolved Laurel caps upcoming damage at 10, so you don't need armor at all. Every character now can easily beat death now with evolved Laurel and Lancet.
Armour applies _after_ Shroud so you can further reduce all damage to 1 per hit with 9 armour. Not that you can use it for anything, especially with white death as it is right now.

@@Arcticanine Well the sprite is named "white hand" and it doesn't have any data for a proper enemy. It's just a moving sprite.

M'arrabbio means "I'm gonna get angry/I'm gonna rage" in Italian
It's also the localized name of a character in the old anime "Kiss me Licia" (Love Me, My Knight)
I know Dex constantly reminds people of Hellfire's strength, but this run really shows how much it shines. It out damaged both Phieraggi and Vandalier.
Hellfire's really OP, even when the arcana that synergizes with it the most is nerfed (Heart of Fire).
@@amai2307 Hellfire is not random, it spins around you just like vanda, only we don't see a targeting reticle. You can really make it OP if you get the bounce arcana it will always bounce back to you so you get full screen coverage over the 3 bounces since you'll be firing multiple groups in different directions as the previous ones keep bouncing. Heart of Fire is actually worse than the bounce for end game damage, but Heart of Fire is extremely OP if you get fire wand early.
The color blast happens when evolved clock lancet makes a full rotation, or "hits 12 o' clock"

You sound exactly like my old Warframe clan leader. Watching your videos take me back to Eidolon hunting day in and day out.
Use Red Death character he is faster than toastie especially with wings & he has plenty of hp to kill the secret boss at the end with revivals running lancet, & laurel.

30:30 Oh, this is interesting. Maybe they did indeed think of No Movement challenges in this.
You need to pick up skull and pummarola and then a path of cakes appears, you follow them and you find the guy in black and kill him, no number of cakes or chickens etc. You can do it from level one if you want to.
Did 3 play-throughs and couldn't figure out why the cakes weren't triggering even after checking on the requirements... Turns out I had already unlocked the guy yesterday :D :D :D
The mine cart weapon with this character is absolutely insane. Ran with that the guns/scythe/hellfire rod and holy rod. I only moved when chests were out of my reach, but it was still really nasty. This new update is amazeballs
should save a banish for the skull, you can still evolve with the 1st level only.
I actually got a missingNo playthrough to roll with -170% speed, which was a blast to play with everything inverted.
Also magic wand and rune tracer are now the most op weapons >< with the three arcanas they beat hellfire out so much!
Finally Rune Tracer can once again claim its throne as an op weapon

opened Marrabbio today and reached 30 minutes on it in hyper mode
you mentioned how you got issues killing stuff after maxing out skull right before that, instead of maxing other stuff first. xD

I unlocked this Character completely by accident, I noticed Pies started spawning and I was just running from Item to item on the Map, trying to get the new Rings. While doing that I maxed out Magnet so I didn't need to run towards them.

Edit the next afternoon: played until 7:30am and gone to sleep... Just woke up. Unlocked everything just need to farm gold... MissingNo time again probably as last time ive got 540k... Just need the right stats 😁
how do you have those boosted stats from the beginning on? i have maxed out all the power ups or at least i think i did
the grey reaper sets your max health to zero, and thats why you cant do anything.
….Omfg I thought my Gorgeous moon was thte thing that was making the cakes….Im a noob at the game and that was my first Gorgeous moon! That beinf said I didnt have a Lancet or a Laurel in my items, nor the rings
None of these unlocks seem to work if you use Leda btw.

its +0.01% dex, not +1% for the egg, these eggs will make characters unplayable if you get enough curse i fear
The value is +0.01 which is 1%, some are lower though
My Toastie is at 32% Curse at around 500 eggs, with 0.01% that would be 320 eggs only in Curse
I hope they add a slider indivisual per stat to set it to however you high/low you want once you get the stats increased
well first you have around 50% curse to dumb anyway from your powerups so will take quite the while until that happens
so around 780 eggs would be around 50% curse
with the other bonuses (thats a guess) you can offset some of the curse lets say 25% of the curse
So you would have about 1560 eggs before you even hit your natural 50% curse (powerups) or 52 hours (104 runs) goldrush farm at 150k each run
And that is ONE character...^^

I remember picking up cakes on this map and killing some shadow mage at the end of the level but never thought to much about it after that as I was to amazed with the two new weapons and how good they were. Interesting. I remember killing it on the right side of the map though near the spinach as I picked them up last. And I did get the sound but I was to overwhelmed xD

I got this event happening by chance without knowing what was going on. I was wondering what those pies were, thinking it was a new patch and look for the map.
I might be remembering wrong, but I think there was a shadow character spawning that I didn't manage to kill, (I did not upgrade the ring because me stupid and not save spot for clocklancer)
I still got the character though... Was only half paying attention to the game.

You have to pick up skull first. Few minutes later pies will appear.

in the new area at like 14 min i was warped to a diff area and it restarted the timer.. so i didnt make it to 15 min even tho i was doing fine... huh guess it unlocked a NEWer area

If you managed to beat that map within another map on the first try, it will never show up again for any character. Beating that map, meaning that you got the Relic at the end of that hall.
If you didn't beat that special map, it will appear in the stage selection for MOST characters. Exdash, Toastie, Red Death, Leda, and I think MissingN0 are unable to see that special map, but pretty much every other character can see it, if you didn't beat it the first time around.

Jesus Christ, you really watch every video to it's full extend, that's insane :'D The issue here is rather that I always do this, e.g. here I wanted to say something, realized I am not getting to what I wanted to say and then repeat it. I usually cut all of that out, but there was so much to do yesterday that I only skimmed over the recording (editing but poor version) while already recording the next video and making the thumbnail/youtube stuff on the first video, so I sadly missed a lot of these things (hopefully not too much)

You have to beat secret stage. I think you have to go the the new level, moongolow. Then get to the end. my screen started going really weird then i got teleported to a secret level which i died it. You can revisit it by choosing a character thats not death or leda. I used antonio becuase you can reliably crack candles to get health on the way. At the end of this level there is a rosary, pick it up and continue right through the wall.

you need the map that you get in the dairy plant level. it'll be the green arrow when you first play it, you'll have to head down to pick it up
How is this game funnier to watch than to play ? Was bored after 5 run myself
