see, I knew what was coming leading up to this, knew that taking it would definitely trigger a trap of some sort, definitely didn’t imagine it to be a huge laser beam though, luckily half of my party members were on the second floor of the outside of the creche doing the ceremonial weapon puzzle when i grabbed the thing, once that countdown started they used a feather scroll and jumped then sprinted for the exit, Astarion made it to being completely out of range and Shadowheart was sprinting out as the building fell in a cutscene, Lae’zel and I made it outside but had no way to escape, game wouldn’t let me jump down or teleport away off the top floor, so we both died and had to get resurrected, she was really annoyed with me but got over it fast😅

Considering this was just a lock pick that astarion would get without issue to get the part. It's halarious
