Having watched you guys from the very first videos, it's so great seeing your relationship with profi! You were talking about a bigger press for YEARS.
You have TH-camrs who get some cash for posting a video of them watching someone else actually doing something. Mindboggling! And those clowns, when they get their money, promptly go out and buy a pink Ferrari or some other rediculous status symbol. And then there's you, investing in your shop with more and more practical equipment, never being boring, and always personable. Take a bow! P.S. That watermelon at 8:44 looks terrified... Genious!
Thanks a lot for such a nice comment! I think that the new press, bunker, robot and everything is definitely worth of the money and effort and you viewers definitely deserve them after so many years of watching the videos.
@@EiraAimo Well thanks alot. Now I am even more impressed with the Suomi (I just looked that up, hope that I used it correctly) than I already was/ Pressing Tons=status, Mind blown!
impressive! i especially like the slow motion around 6:30, where you see the lightning bolts when the outer ring is at the moment of cracking. Huge forces at work on atomic level there, to crack a steel ring.
I bet a press manufacturing company feels blessed that your channel is there to sponsor your channel, I'd expect their machinery would be pretty niche market and they are probably saving tens of thousands of dollars in marketing otherwise.
I can see next generation somewhere in future going through their parents old stuff and finding dust covered hydraulic presses from back of their garages wondering wtf these are and why somebody needs something like this :D
@@HalfLife83 Well the price isn't really the point, I doub't the average person would know where to get a good, reliable press that can be vouched for.

Itd be neat if youd tell a bit where these humongous bearings and other tools are actually used. Not like long history of them but quick and short line or two about their practical applications in real world. Also since you now have space inside a bunker you could have some human analogue stand in the middle of it when crushing stuff that causes a lot of shrapnel just to see what would happen if you were inside the bunker when stuff gets crushed.
So Hanna says, "I don't want to look!" Then, very slowly, she peeks at the camera to watch the explosion. Yeah, Hanna is just like we are: we love to watch the HPC and all the fun things that happen.
You know, this is the only channel where someone says 'we're building this thing, or getting this thing to do this thing' and then next week or even seconds later in the same video, there it is. I can't tell you how many times I've heard a creator is going to do something and then you never hear about it again. But not here, you guys always keep your word and it is *much appreciated.* PS I love the room camera where you just see shit flying all over the place. That is wild and I see why the bunker was necessary now lol.
I love the contrast between Lauri's and Hanna's reaction 😁 lauri be like "Thats quite a lot of stuff happening!! 🤠" and Hanna in the same scene "mitäää..... Häääähh... 😧"
I love how the look on the first watermelon's face was like "I know what they're gonna do, this is totally dangerous, I'm gonna die" and the second was like "I got this, I'm gonna be fine."
This video would have been useful to me 32 or 33 years ago... When I was 7 or 8 years old I used a big bench vice to crush a quite big bearing and when it exploded a chunk flew away and made a hole on a 200 liter oil drum that was a few meters apart, nobody was hurt just because nobody was between the bearing and the oil drum, but it was scary as hell, I never did it again!
Love the "Meatbags" reference "it's just, you have all those squishy parts, and all that water... Oh how the constant sloshing doesn't drive you mad, I have no Idea."
love seeing the camera shake afterwards. very violent. thank you for bringing us so much entertainment and showing us things we would never be abl;e to see otherwise
Loved the bonus shot of seeing the scatter effect of the shrapnel in the room, sort of gives an indication of force and the... cleanup required afterwards.
Hanna's bedazzled ear protection is the best thing ever XD Also, would it perhaps be possible to get in touch with Ballistic Dummy Labs to get some ballistic dummy heads sent out? I think that would be so cool!
10:08 I'm a bit surprised why/how you got the press with those sensors? I dont know if they're mandatory by law in Finland or whatever is the reason why you still have them, but with some small adaptions they'll disappear ;)
I think I've seen ultra high speed footage of dangerous events, filmed through a reflection in a mirror, to protect the camera. That may work very well in the bunker !
Some person ask: What do you do with TH-cam Money? HPC: Hmm? I'm going to buy a new camera I think. There is tons of view and it's really great for the show. Continue!
Great video. Have you thought about painting the walls inside of the bunker black to make it easier to see shrapnel hits or would that make it to dark for filming?
While watching this video and seeing all the bits and bobs fly across the bunker it gave me an idea. Put up paper targets, like for archery or other target practice, at different distances to see where it travels. And a fleshy mannequin, kind of like what Mythbustes had.
Love your channel been watching since the very beginning of your channel!!! Someday I think in the future you’ll have an even bigger press the size of a dump truck.. were you can crush a car till it explodes, 10 times stronger than an ordinary car crusher!!! 😂
What if you used an air compressor to get the inner bearings spinning before you crush it? It would obviously have to be clamped or even welded down to keep it from rolling away, but I think that would really up the explosive power of it! And just imagine the high speed footage you can get from that
@hydraulic Press Channel would you guys ever consider a Phantom Flex camera? You work is amazing and I think a camera of that magnitude would do wonders for your channel.
