I definitely agree with you in a sense that money changes people , but coming from a rough background myself I’ve learned blood definitely isn’t thicker than water and ride or die friends like them build each other up and once you’ve made it out of the trenches you realize there’s many other ways of squashing beef then violence especially when your in the public eye like Melly is.
And the way the lawyer walked off like drop the mic moment 😄
They trying hard not to call him Mr. Demon talking bout Mr. DeMon 😭😭
Man mell lawyer trying blame bortlen that’s wild
This how boosie beat his bodies ..how Durk go his charges dropped blame it to the next person
He actually didn’t in some way cuz all he did is to prove those idiots that took bortlen word as it is melly words aswell so lawyer just tried to clear that out. If bortlen was the one lying to y’all then why keep it in melly case?????
No it's all about creating reasonable doubt
@@MohammedAli-ld5nr now this make sense ! I gotcha
@@nathanngobeni-ko5qs hoodie beat his bodies cause Marlo mike didn’t snitch on the stand buddy

His lawyer saying his last name like it’s spelled deamons when it’s literally spelled D E M O N. 😂😂😂😂
Maybe u dont pronounce it as demons
@lmaooooooooo right they are spelled the same but pronounced differently, however, melly is living up to the Demon 😈 name
@@carwalk1280 your hero

@@lmaooooooooo1415Why wouldn't you pronounce it like that? It's obvious the lawyer is changing the pronunciation to make this bozo sound innocent
The lady in the back looking like “say what you want he still getting the death penalty “🤣
They should have let this guy do the close.
Melly would be free.
Its telling when the defence attorney in a murder trial doesnt outright deny the accusations but rather seeks to make the trial a measure for the burden of proof. He knows the kid did it and he needs to maintain space to manoeuvre if the prosecution fry him.
Ofcourse his defence is Melly is innocent of the crime.. but you only need to question the integrity of the charges and the oppositions case. You can’t give somebody the death sentence if you’re ‘not sure’ they have to prove beyond a reasonable doubt and he is the beacon of doubt.
It’s literally the first day opening statements .Seems that his lawyer was a working towards making that claim by showing the lack of burden of proof firstly.
@@iamtedkachilledski9809 all the proof is there, video proves he was indeed in the vehicle in the position he was, cell data proves where and how long he was in the vehicle, the trajectory of how the victims were shot let’s you know who in the vehicle could’ve did it by their seating arrangement, it’s really a clean case tbh melly should’ve just took the plea
Starting off we not giving it all up
@@olivialindsey5577 Exactly. All the proof is right there, and we not even talking about the fact that he self snitched as well. Now his only hope is to throw the guy he convinced to cover for him under the bus. No honor among criminals😂
Classic "my client is guilty but you can't prove it" speech.
He right there is no real evidence piece maybe
Thank u keep telling these ppl that
lies

Hop off
Well put.
That lady in the back looking like “this mf cappin “🤣🤣
LoL 😂😂
Even if they blame it on the other guy, melly will still need to explain where he was when it happened! his cell phone connects him at the scene , before and after!
I could never be a defense attorney 😂 I’d purposely blow the trial of the defendant when they do something like this.
The fact that the judge not even paying attention
If the points made by his lawyer are true if he's found guilty it should be accessory before and after the fact of murder
I told my brother this the only way melly can beat this is if bortlen is the suspect and melly was the one in the front seat the whole time and bortlen was only charged with accessory and that’s a different statue he can be charged with murder
Was he charged with that? Like what all charges is he facing? Idk.
6:30 Throwing Cortland Right under the bus 🚌
So now cortlen either have to snitch or take the charge
smooth up under that mug. Torso and all
No it's showing they went straight for melly when it could've been cortland they had a thing for melly without finding all the evidence...
Well if u didnt do it n u wete in his place then it would happen in ur case do he it. U say
The lawyer gotta great opening statement, he gotta up hill battle. Lady in the back cant stop rollin her eyes cause we all know he guilty. Melly can't even keep a straight face. Motive: prolly a lil missing money on the victim side & him probably being high at the time.
My grass grew faster than this dude talked.
I got a Snapchat memory saying one year ago today he started a sentence
My boy do you want a lawyer to speak precisely/ clear to the jury to get you free, or do you want an auctioneer to break speed talking records that the jury can't understand to expedite your trip to Prison?
Even the Lawyer didn’t believe what he was saying. He was having trouble getting the words out, he was choking on his own bullsht 😂
He flipped on the dude that covered for him faster than he shot his two friends. Yeah, it’s so hard to believe that he wouldn’t have offed his friends.
So he helped killed two of his friends and is throwing his accomplice under the bus
Sounds like it.
Is he trying to say the driver did it
Yup
No
@@rayedramano, they just proved all that locations they were tryna prove wasn’t said by melly if it was a “lie” it was said by bortlen the driver so why I bring it up in melly case ????

Why Melly lookin like a 90lb skeletor 💀💀
I’m thinking he might beat this if there’s this many holes. His lawyer is no joke
Did he honestly try to say Melly only in jail cause the prosecutor wants to get famous?! And that they all share phones?! WTF this is sabotage
Bro was spittin 🔥 at the end
So if the verdict is not guilty what does he get for the 4 years incarcerated?
Believe me he dont care just want his freedom.
Nothing because they have enough evident to hold someone pending trial.. he will never be found not guilty but will most likely be acquitted
@@codymacintyre6589 just for the record, acquittal = not guilty. I believe the only way he could get out without prison would be if the state offered a plea deal of him pleading guilty to a lesser charge or something like that. However, once you get to this point and take it to a trial and try to fight the case, the state rescinds any plea deals that may have been on the table.
@@omarsson5107 if u innocent u definitely care about wasting 4 years in jail. Surrounded my men. Trapped. eating BS..imma need a lil more than a “ok u can go outside now”

@@Jazlin92665 like whe a video buffers I'm saying his lawyer is only slowing down between mellys trial and going to jail
Exactly. Everything he just said is a joke. There’s so much proof Melly did it. All they could do is try to blame others, that’s all they got.
If this is his main argument Melly is doomed
If you kill your best friends tho you gotta plan that out so you can never be linked to that
Well he tried😂
They thought they did. They just aren’t very bright.

He literally made ah song with they name in it so they obviously was like 🤞🏾“I’m with Sak & juvy so you gotta bring abt 3 friends “

Best lawyer Melly had. This guy knows the laws & he did a outstanding job representing Melly. It's a shame he's no longer involved in the case!
I don’t understand ppl saying he’s got strong arguments. He only speaks circumstantial what Ifs and no facts or fact based narrative
You’re wrong he made alot of hood point
People kill their wives, husbands, children everyday... to say he wouldn't do it because they were his "best friends," is comical.
right
They got a reason to do it tho. Not loving their spouse, kid with zero problems and kill them. That's so rare.
Cool…:now tell me how many people wake up out the blue and kill their family members with no motive. I’ll wait for you to do some research cause you’re going to need to…,a man kills his baby cause he snapped when it cried one too many times…see that’s a motive

That cop could have set him up. Idk but no murder weapon… No confession… Just because there were no other cell phones in the area doesn’t mean others weren’t there.
Brilliant, opening statement by defense! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥💯
I would like to say something, homicide is a serious case in which cops use all the research they can do to solve it so why haven't they used any of this to find out where and how this happened they've been out to three different locations although cameras are everywhere and when listening to the opposite opening with the women she says they cant find anything about glass or ammo other than some casing so how can they have multiple years to produce a lot of evidence and they give no suitable information on the biggest parts?
