    Wing chun meets street. Flowery to brutal directness. Nice!

    Love it. Lee Morrison is a true warrior and an amazing martial artist. So cool to see him utilizing techniques derived from Eskrima, Muay Thai, Wing Chun, and other arts, and showing us how to functionalize them for real brutal fighting application. Absolutely on another level.

    Man... massive props to Jamie for taking all that. At least he's seems to enjoy himself. :D

    Hey Lee
    Is palm hook strike to the side of the chin is a knockout shot for a preemptive strike? Can it be one's main Artillery shot ?

      @liamackroyd8764 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Any strike to the chin is knock out especially as you said preemptive they won't expect it but my favorite strike is to the groin with my shin ❤

    I have never seen a punch blocked like that. It would require incredible reflexes. I think that the action will always beat the reaction. On the street You don't know that angle the punch is coming from (the most common is a looping right).

    • @johnkim7838
      @johnkim7838 ปีที่แล้ว

      I know what you mean. I used to spar against boxers to see my capability to block/parry. Found out I can block the heavy (usually opponent's right hand) but not the jab. So I have a general habit of covering up boxing style for jabs (with bob and weave) then parry the heavy to get close for hits or parry heavy into grab. I rarely kick high for street, all low. This is just personal experience, am sure others are more capable but I am slow.
      Regarding grab I love the one where I take my right arm and overlap on top of their right then pull in their elbow then yank away their hand, an inside arm bar, almost a kimura.
