To Haitians & Dominicans Vetiver is:
    The scent of Hope
The scent of Home in the Countryside
    The scent of Love
    (Ayiti/Kiskeya) 🌸
    - Dominican Sister here 🌹

@@beatrice123ful …. Haiti and DR are the SAME island. You don’t know this?
And yes. I understand that Vetiver is cultivated more on the Haitian side, although both countries grow it.
So what is the problem? You have racist problems or something?
      You seem ignorant.
      Stop embarrassing yourself.

Wonderful video to learn more about your vetiver! Also, can anyone share the artist & song? It's so beautiful.

I think I heard when I worked at Shell that Shell itself did a project planting vetiver around other plants. Vetiver is a non-invasive grass (in other words it doesn't spread take over the area) and so is able to form a coral to prevent the loss of moisture from the soil. If anyone knows anything about this please do add a comment. Vetiver in most forms is not a perfume favourite of mine though.

Indian vetiver is the most expensive, Haitian vetiver is the cheapest. Haitian vetiver tends to be much lighter.

Depends on which part of the world you buy from 😀.
Haitian vetiver oil is not available for retail purchase easily in India, but Indian vetiver can be pretty economic depending on seller.

Haitian vetiver is the best and they export %50 of the world 🌎 perfume. It’s better than India. Haiti is in every luxury bottle
