Not perfect, but pretty good especially for the cost. I was tired of waiting for the Racing Beat REV8 to come back in stock, my stock catback was rotting to pieces. Only real tips I have: 1) Hummer/Escalade exhaust hangers are good for the muffler to get it a bit lower so there's less chance of it melting the exhaust surrounds. 2) Use 1/2" double split shaft collars on the muffler hangers to forcefully center the tips in their holes. It flexes the hangers oddly to be pushing the muffler around like this but whatever. It's held up fine for me even on track.
Thanks! I've been looking for s1 to s2 cat back solutions. With the collars, you just used them to hold the rubber hangers in place for the best fitment? Good idea.
Also, have you made any other major upgrades to it? 👀 I'm purchasing one soon, so just need some mods to make it look and sound cooler. Not worried about gaining any performance.

Did this melt your plastic exhaust shrouds at all? My right hand one started to melt after 1 drive.

Stock header, midpipe is modified with a high flow cat but it still uses the stock resonator.

Not really, stock flows well but mine was damaged and repaired poorly. This definitely sounds better and looks better, but it's heavier than stock.
Is there a tune on this? Sounds great!
At the time it was just an off the shelf tune from Versatune. I ended up mapping it myself and made a good chunk more power.

Also any issue with the drivers side tip protruding more than the passengers side tip?
Sorry I see they have a specific s2 model. Is this the s2 model? And still needed lower hangers?

In this video, only other mod was a stock midpipe that had the stock cat cut out and replaced with a high flow cat.

@@1tap_danyal high flow cat was fine, no CEL.
@@1tap_danyal I did a custom CAI, like the Mazdaspeed intake. Otherwise nothing worth doing to add power or cool noise, IMO.
