What a great tribute from you Ken and all the other guys and ladies that work at Kaplan Cycles. This is a great example of how an employer should treat its employees. This is the kind of environment that people want to work hard for you. Enjoy your retirement .
When a motorcycle channel also becomes a channel of life lessons and good vibes... That was a beautiful sendoff guys, but I must say I think Jeff is deceiving himself because guys like him never really retire... I wish all the best to Jeff and the whole crew at Kaplan Cycles. You're all top notch.
Jeff is a true craftsman. You can tell from watching the videos he’s been in with Kaplan cycles. He makes very difficult repairs look easy. Congrats on the retirement Jeff! gona miss watching you perform magic on the channel. God speed!
Thanks, Ken, for letting us see your beautiful salute to your friend Jeff. And cool to think he started turning wrenches half a century ago when dirt bikes and street bikes and dual-sport bikes and all sorts of bikes were everywhere, with lots of them placed into his hands to be renewed and returned to the great wide open. And he wears his Evel Knievel jacket well.
What a great salute!! I've known Jeff most of my life, all us younger guys looked up to him, he could fix and tune anything. I did the paint and body work on one of his bikes gotta be over 15 years ago now, I wonder if it's still around...Enjoy retirement Jeff you earned it!
America needs more employers like you. Its easy to see that you care for and have respect for your employees. Happy trails Jeff. I hope you enjoy many years of retirement
Jeff is the best. Wish I got to know him better when he was working on my bikes 20 years ago but it's been so cool to actually see him work on so many projects here. He's become one of my favorites and I really hope he does more youtube in the future.
I owned a 88 katana 1100 that Jeff built. Gsxr running gear , so modern brakes, suspension, and radial tires. Engine and trans built by Jeff. It was a rocket. He also dyno tuned 4 other bikes I owned. Best running bikes I've owned to this day. He was a super nice guy and his prices were always fair. Enjoy retirement Jeff, you have earned it!
