- In this skin texture drawing tutorial I'm going to show you step by step my process to draw realistic skin pores. To draw realistic skin texture, you need to take your time to set up the ‘foundation’ of the drawing. Hopefully, by the end of this video you'd learn enough to draw realistic skin pores.

Thanks a bunch
U r genius
Glad you like it
Thanks I just learned a lot from you please don't give up cuz I won't
Thanks a lot
Thanks for being my teacher
It's my pleasure
Thanks for this knowledge air..but I have a question..I only use charcoal dust to draw...how can I still achieve it this with all these steps
Well just shade the skin normally. Start lightly and progress to dark. But when it's time to draw the pores you're going to need some pencils, charcoal or at least graphite, charcoal dust can't do much In drawing those little pores.
Well done 😍❤️
Thanks and welcome
Legend
Thanks a lot
Very nice discovery bro.😊
Thanks a lot
Waiting for you ❤
Will try not to be too long 🤜🤜
I am so happy you amde a recent video i have watched all yiur TH-cam videos and thye really helped. Can I use the electric eraser instead of the mono zero eraser?
You can
Nice, I have gained a lot, thanks
You are welcome thanks
What video editing software do you use?
Hey Jason you are just getting better and better anyway can i ask some questions
Thanks man 🤜🤜
❤❤
Hyperrealism for the win 🎉
Lol,i draw a super smooth face with little Black marks and they would end up liking it but i don't !
I really get bored coz sometimes it gets messed up and there's no way I'm to rub the marks and reshade it the way it was!😪😔
Oh, I get you. Did you use charcoal for the dark marks?
@@JasonLegendaryArt Thanks for replying Jason.
I use pencils all the way ...HB,HB2,HB4 & HB6.and a fine brush and a tissue paper or a serviette.
❤
Where do u get those reference photos...😢
The ones at the end of the video or the reference I drew from. The reference I drew from is from Pinterest. Just search "skin pores" , it's a popular image
The reference u drew
This is the best explanation i have seen on skin pores, i really appreciate you for making this video but pls recommend papers i can use for skin pores drawings, i have been having issues with drawings by using the wrong papers for this type of shading
Use Strathmore Bristol smooth
I thank you very much......u are helping me.... please let me ask you a question,...do we have AN sketch drawing book on market?.
Sorry....A2 drawing book
I love looking at art on yt and just discovered you today.
When I watch your videos I start to glow. Only then comes the reality. Daughter says daddy grind me a unicorn please. I take the pen and no one can tell afterwards if it's a fat fish or bear 😂
Yes exercise it should be one sometime the solution. But sometimes I think if it should click now, I'm left out 😂
Thanks
I don't know but I like your Skechers so much
Thanks a bunch
I have a question can you use the electric eraser same as you use the mono eraser?
Yeah, but Tombow mono give you more flexibility
Nice..but what paper do you use pls, i have issues selecting good papers for skin pores drawings
Strathmore Bristol smooth
Hi bro. Your videos are really helpful for me.
Can you do a tutorial to shade dresses and other accessories.
Looking for more from you
- Lots of love from India 🇮🇳 -
Shade dresses? You mean drawing fabric?
What is the type of cardboard?
Okay how can you draw freckles and black heads???
Can you please do a video on realistic hands in a portrait!🫶
👍👍
What kind of electric erasers are you using, especially the small one.
I don't know the brand, I just asked for an electric erase and they gave me this pink one. It uses replaceable batteries
Plz how can I detail my drawing without having any annoying shine on my work
Bro I don't have a tombo erasers. I only have the electric eraser. Can I use only it.
Yeah, use what you've got 🤜🤜
One question do the paper texture really matter, or you can use any paper to draw realistic drawing
It does, I try to go for something that has a relatively smooth surface. But not too smooth. It being thick is also recommended
Which paper do you use pls?
It's Strathmore Bristol Smooth
I am a new subscriber . I really like your tutorials. But the only problem I am having is buying those tools . 😢 Immediately I get all those tools I will start putting your tutorials into practice 😊
That's good keep learning
You can get just as dark with graphite powder. Ijs
Wouldn't be be as easy and quick. It would require layers upon layers and don't forget the shine. Oh the shine 🤦🤦
@@JasonLegendaryArt 9B graphite powder is as dark immediately. No layers upon layers necessary. Having done this for years now it's not a big deal. If shine is a problem, change the angle of your light and/or the angle of your canvas/paper. 🤷🏻♂️
👍
Thanks a bunch
Sir, how you put black and white effect on your reference image for sketch in phone?
Pls ans meee..
Keep watching and you will find out more
Hats off !
You should be a teacher.
Thanks
What's the difference between hard, soft and medium charcoal pencils and b2,b4, and b6 when it comes to drawing hair.
I'll get back to you soon
Im afraid of using charcoal pencil, I've been making all my drawings with graphite, but sometimes I draw the hair or dark area with charcoal pencil and it turns out to be brown, contrasting from that of Graphite pencils pls dear can you recommend charcoal pencil
For graphite pencils, I use 2B, 4B, 6B and HB
For charcoal pencils, I use Generals 4B and 6B
Bro when you are coming with drawing video
@JasonLegendaryArt owesome . truth is i have come from far . from nothing to kinder better. Thats promising but whats discouraging is that there is a long way to go....i believe am good but my materials have failed me, mostly my type of paper.... Its realy dificult to minimise noise in my art work and make smooth skin tones...and my drawings appear better with naked eyes than on camera....am realy confused which is true . should i trust my eyes or the camera lense
Poor quality of paper is one thing that can ruin an artwork and can also kill motivation. You can be cheap on other things, but you can't skip paper.
And any progress is progress and that's good. Infact it's great, the goal is to be 1% better than yesterday.
And I would say that as long as you took the photo of the drawing well, that photo can also be a guide to see areas you need to fix in the drawing.
How can we make our own graphite powder
Here ☺️ th-cam.com/video/YAmAKrfVexI/w-d-xo.htmlsi=LmyWzbP08IKf-Mdp
Is the paper you use smooth
Strathmore Bristol smooth
Do you have a link to the paper you prefer?
Yes, use Strathmore Bristol smooth
Sir please when I make sketches it doesn't resemble. Sir please what can I do to improve my sketches
Watch my tutorial and practice
Thank you very much for the tutorial
But your Patreon Links don't work
Pls check it and try again
You’re funny lol 😂
Thanks a lot
Nice work sir, please make new videos
Watch out for more
how long did it take you
7 to 12 hours
I have a question why you are so perfect
Keep watching listening and practising you'll get there
My charcoal pencil crumbles if i use it for detailed drawing such as the pores and leaves dust on the paper
Then try others
Just the video to avoid if you want to draw using pencil in a relaxed and focused way.
Okay thanks
you once made video on how to not a poor artist but im pretty goodb indrawing yet i dont get anyone to buy them
Yeah, it's not easy. You'll have to start with commissions first it's how most artist get started
thanks bro i will endeavor
