Cris Is one cool cat, his laugh Is beautifull, and my opinion - one of the Best body EVER in bodybuilding history!!!.......and he Is having fun at the same time!!!.....that Is just beautifull!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
My dad was an NPC bodybuilder and I grew up in the early 90s going to all the shows and watching the guest posers and every year the Olympia. I absolutely appreciate you all talking about the early Golden days where the physiques were truly different I don’t care what anyone says. Do more Podcasts with the old school guys Jay, we all appreciate it!
This was a great interview. Lots of great stories and good history from Chris. I like how you guys have a laid back interview that allows for easy conversation.
As great as Jay's physique was, his best musclegroup we never saw though, it was and always will be his magical vocal cords. The JÀÀÀÀY CUTLÈÈÈÈR tone, there's simply nothing like it, unmatched to this day. #onestepcloser#rippedtoshreds#newimprovedandbeyond#acutabove#90searly2000sbestera
i remember in the 2018 olypmia, Chris was live streaming it on his instagram, and i commented him to get a new phone, Dennis james read the comment and started laughing(he was holding Chris’s phone)😂. good times
Awesome podcast guys, nowadays is so hard to be a bodybuilder for most folks. Can you imagine how many talented people don't get to Pro because lack of sponsorship.
I’m ngl, I feel Chris when he says when someone tries a big lift and they stop. The best feeling was at Bev’s when I took the 160s for a ride and a few ppl in the immediate area stopped to watch. Didn’t do that much but I was happy to press a set of dumbbells that are bigger than most gyms have. No one can tell me lifting heavy isn’t fun!
Chris had one of the best physiques EVER!!!!! One of my favorites all time!!! Great bodybuilder on and off the stage!!! Jay has the BEST podcast going!!! TY
Chris was the most accessible pro bb back in the 90s. He wore t shirts, shorts, etc., and not full bodysuits and otomix. He also should have been second in 1999 Mr. O.
I was at that rookie debut. That was an awesome show! Bertil and Tony Pearson were also in there. Both looked fantastic and didn't even crack the top 10!
I think Jay Cutler might have the best personality ever! He is very enthusiastic and easy on the ears. He is the only kind of personality I would be friends with and I’m very picky with choosing friends
Arnolds era was the golden era when It comes to fanhood and recognition but the 90s was the golden era when It comes to actual competitors and therfore the competition was so ridiculous.
That mike Tyson story was crazy lol, I heard fat joe tell a story where him and big pun were going through a tunnel in new York leaving the club, and big pun was drunk and picking a fight with 5 big bodyguards, fat joe said they heard someone in the tunnel say “hey joe, I got your back , let’s duck these guys up “ lol joe said he felt like he had a super hero with him, said Mike had gucci loafers and a kangaroo 🦘 hat with a coat 🧥
Wow! I just got done with watching Jay and Phil and now I'm seeing this. This is an amazing podcast. It's awesome hearing the perspective of the Open Bodybuilding Legends.
Met Chris years ago, got a signed pic. He was side by side with Titus at the same table. Titus was really nice, Chris was a giant deauche bag...... interesting
In Australia they only have two pro card winners per year. Its really hard o body build over there. Makes sense why Lee Priest lived in US for his career
The GEAR & GH doses are CRAZY 😮, idt Jay even understands how it is today (or even was, back on forums 20yrs ago). 500mg TE is starter for 160lb kid who been “working out”x2yrs (no idea how to lift) w/o results. 2nd cycle: +300MastE (bc they didn’t keep much from 1st cycle lol). Training hard is dead last😢
The reason why bodybuilders don’t train 2x is because the sponsorship money isn’t the same, leaving the modern day bodybuilder to chase views instead of rely on the company to create content.
Thanks Jay for the great content! Do you think you can get Frank Zane on? He might not leave his area, but I’m asking because I know you would ask the right questions. Every interview I’ve seen with him he talks about what he is doing now and never goes into his training or diet, or very little. I would like to know the Zane that climbed up. Not the Zane that’s doing his buddist stuff now. Respectfully, but it’s pretty true he hasn’t spoken about the young Zane as much. Thanks Jay!!
I didnt think Chris was in shape for that 99 Olympia. I saw him at the airport when he came into town and numerous times at the hotel and his face was too full, but I was shocked when he hit the stage!
You need to get Kevin Levorne on this please!! Would love to see his views on bodybuilding now and what stories he has back in the day
He would be great 👍
I agree Levrone is next level, bring this guy here
YATES!!
You never know who is gonna be interesting guest on podcast like Cris, he is perfect, funny, smart, a lot a storys and information!!! ❤
It's great to hear Chris being able to talk uninterrupted. Such a likeable dude and good story teller.
Finally someone who sees this. DJ annoys me to no end.

I watch a lot of your Cutler Cast episodes, and this one has to be one of my favorite. Hope you guys have Chris on again soon.
Geeking out watching these two legends reminiscing. Great conversation and content.
I met chris in germany, febo, it was Ronnie's 8th year as champ. Chris had a video screen of himself posing. He was super nice and gigantic.
Jay has an idol since middle school. I love that he's still cranking out quality content and showing how a champion behaves even now!
Appreciate you bro
@JayCutlerTV thanks for the reply Big Jay. I'm excited for this channels future. Merry Christmas 🎅🎄
This was a great interview. Lots of great stories and good history from Chris. I like how you guys have a laid back interview that allows for easy conversation.
Always remembered the Real Deal from the magazines I grew up with...Also great call for Jay on Lunsford getting 2nd.
Yooo the old-school stories and shared history on this podcast was lit 🔥
Love the combo of Chris and Jay. Keep it comin!
Jay Is not inturopting and Cris Is a cool cat!❤
Great podcast. I saw Chris @ 97 British Grand Prix. His ab roll impressed me more than Dorian winning that show! Kindest regards, Richard U.K

Right. He has a good voice and persona for what he does and actually uses a mic properly.
Cormier best showing was at the 2005 San Francisco Pro Invitational where he came 1st🥇
Cormier quote"not gonna let the gas ⛽ off the pedal"
You're right Jay, Mike Francois was crazy back in the day. Shame his career got cut short, he could've done some serious damage.
He was one of my favorites
Would like to see Jay only doing interveiw. Chris seems like a cool laid back guy. Ty Jay
Nice to hear Chris, guy has so much knowledge. It’s a nice change from Milos ramblings about aesthetics
It’s nice seeing Chris being able to speak without Dennis trying to speak over every single thing he says.
He's such a great guy and very knowledgeable about the bodybuilding world
Jay the only one to call Derek in 2nd snd hinted at Hadi taking the whole thing
I love modern day bodybuilding I would call the show each day on my porch step!
i remember in the 2018 olypmia, Chris was live streaming it on his instagram, and i commented him to get a new phone, Dennis james read the comment and started laughing(he was holding Chris’s phone)😂. good times

I could listen for hours with these old Bodybuilding stories! Good times Good times.
met cormier at npc show in July in Vegas. Such a humble cool guy.

To date; Chris is still the only active IFBB pro whose name was mentioned in a big screen movie. The boy in John Q.
Thats Flex Wheeler not Chris

I remember Dorian slaying Chris during a leg workout. Dude is a savage.
Thx for the content, much appreciated ❤️❤️
Great stories from Chris. Brings back tonnnes of memories
Chris Comier is soo funny, reminds me of a couple of friends I had
Great Show Jay.
Only Jay could do these because he’s so lighthearted and doesn’t have thin skin

Oh man what a shame it wasn't after Olympia.
Jay Cutler is awesome too got get his due

Chris Cormier the most underrated Bbuilder. 2nd next to Flex the most beautifull!!!
We need to get Kevin Levrone on here! He is one of my bodybuilding Idols!
great video
Jay called the Lunsford 2nd place. One of my favorite episodes so far
cruising on 125 or 150 mgs post cycle is much healthier than coming clean off everything.

Big Mike Russo was just an angry wrestler from high school and a street fighter :)
Ron love was awesome a mentor of mine

I didnt think Chris was in shape for that 99 Olympia. I saw him at the airport when he came into town and numerous times at the hotel and his face was too full, but I was shocked when he hit the stage!
Bout time someone remembers Fletcher. Cz he was a freak...
Excellent!
I think it'd be a neat touch if Jay would hammer out some buffalo wings and pounded a few frosty beers during these podcasts.
LOL
Chris is the Real Deal!
