The Mummy is a 1999 American action-adventure film written and directed by Stephen Sommers. It is a remake of the 1932 film of the same name, starring Brendan Fraser, Rachel Weisz, John Hannah and Arnold Vosloo in the title role as the reanimated mummy. The film follows adventurer Rick O'Connell as he travels to Hamunaptra, the City of the Dead, with a librarian and her older brother, where they accidentally awaken Imhotep, a cursed high priest with supernatural powers.

Great build as always! I've been following you since your aliens pulse rifle build, watch and comment on all your new videos, and even the imgur post if I stumble across them! I dont really need one but wouldn't complain if I got one :)
Thanks a bunch Jordan! I really appreciate the support. He means the world to me. Cheers! ☺
Another great build. I like that you show your failures, and inform of solutions to problems. I have learned several alternate approaches to builds that wouldn't have occurred to me without your channel. My wife loves this movie and it would be a great surprise to gift her this display. Keep building!
Well, faillure is my middle name! 😅 I don't show them all but I screw up a lot... Thanks a bunch for your support! Much appreciated. That would be a great gift! cheers!
Very nice!!! 😁
Thank you!
Dang I just discovered your channel. This would have made my gf's day! I swear she could watch the mummy anytime anywhere.
Pretty much the same here!
I have the perfect space in my museum, just beside the grail tablet ;-)
Ca serait un très beau spot c'est certain! Cheers!
wow! Great build. I certainly will have a try at making this now so it will go along with my screen-used mummy torso from the pit at the end of the movie. I did have a beautifully painted version but it was stolen from me when I had a basement flood by the cleaner. No pun intended. Keep up the great work and always looking forward to your next video.
Thanks a bunch Lorenzo! Did you say screen used mummy torso?!? 😍😍😍
@DaBuild yes. I purchased it many years ago from the auction house. I was thinking of displaying it reaching out grabing the key
@@lorenzodalessandro8502 Can I see it? daniel.lupien@outlook.com
What another epic build! They look so great! I love The Mummy. It's old school action adventure, a la Indiana Jones with a slight horror feel that makes it so much fun to watch. Love the channel and seeing what you replicate. Great work!
Thank you Ken! Totally agree on this one. To this day, it's still a go to movie for me. Thanks for the support and your comment! Good luck! Cheers

That kind of comment makes my day. That's one of the reason I do what I do. Cheers!

Thanks Robert! And yes you should!
Once again a fantastic implementation of a film prop. You are a great inspiration for my future projects... +1 on my to-do list. Maybe one day I'll have a real DaBuild in my collection
Thanks a bunch Markus! Show me yours when you are done! Cheers! (Good luck with the draw)
Amazing!
Thanks Matthew! Much appreciated 😊
Yeah sulfur clays inhibit the catalyzing agent from working in the silicone so it doesn't cure. Sulfur free clays work AFAIK. Loving these videos and your builds!
I learned it the hard way! Thanks a bunch!
@@DaBuild It happens yeah. Love your projects!
I'm new to your channel! Currently binging all your ideas and videos! I love there is someone else out there like me that loves and creates our favorite moments of the movies, even just the small things that stand out to us. I know this was posted 2 months ago, but I would love to be considered for a prop, and I'll send you one back from my collection and creations! ❤ keep up the amazing work and making magic! 🎉
Welcome aboard Amanda! I'm also glad not to be alone out there 😁. I like your idea of trading but for now, I dont have much to trade. I usually build only one version of my props for my collection unless I do a giveaway. Stay tune for the next one! Cheers! 🎬
@DaBuild oh my goodness, no worries! No pressure or anything! I just thought I'd ask! Happy creating!! Keep being awesome!
@@amandaverhoff5890 Much appreciated 😊

Love this as I mentioned on your instagram post this film is the first gift I ever bought for my father. Also this would look amazing next to my key to hamunaptra prop. Love all of your work top notch!
Great story! I wish you the best of luck and most of all, thank for your support! Cheers!
Besides, the mummy being one of my favorite movie of all time, I’m also a miniaturist and a prop maker, and this would look phenomenal next to my Book of the Dead prop that I made. Great work Dan.
Thanks man! Damn...you have the book of dead? This is on my do to list....lucky you! Good luck with the draw.
@@DaBuild yes! I made it a few years back. I’ll be making the book of the living in the near future. I wish I could send you a pic. Thank you for everything that you do 🖤💛💙

Bon après visionnement de ton vidé, j’ai d’autres raisons pour lesquels j’aimerais avoir ta création :

I have been a follower of your videos for a while (through the rpf) but didn't realise I never subscribed to your channel before! How rude of me !
The OH and I are big fans of the Mummy (we both have the hots for Brendan Fraser ) and a scarab piece would look good amongst our menagerie of other tv and film prop pieces :)
Keep up the good work, can't wait to see your next build! (That Peter Pan/Hook sword is world class)
Thanks a bunch David! Comments like this on gives me fuel to keep making! Cheers and good luck!
"Know This: This Creature Is The Bringer Of Death. He Will Never Eat, He Will Never Sleep, And He Will Never Stop
Great quote!
This would go perfect in my backyard tiki bar, along with my Indiana Jones and goonies props
That would be a nice lineup!
I love the movie, and I also think it would go great with my Indy props.
No doubt! You're in!
Fantastic job!! I've just recently started trying to build my own props and your videos and build threads have given me so much inspiration. I first came across your channel when I was looking up build videos for a Jack Sparrow compass, and I've been hooked ever since. I'd honestly love to own one of your scarabs because I just started adding the Mummy (the good one 🤣) and The Mummy Returns to my collection and would also be honored to add a piece of yours to the fledgling collection
When buddy, your name is in the hat! Thank you and good luck!
Great work 👌 thanks for the video.
I would love to win this, as the mummy is one of my favorit movies ever.
Thanks Nicolai! Much appreciated. You are in and good luck 🤞
I use the Mummy as a background movie, and I always end up watching it.
Even when I pit it on to nap to, I'll end up watching it and miss out on valuable nap time.
Same for me! It's one of my go to movie when I want to relax. Cheers!
You know, with just the gold it looks like the scarab from Aladdin
Indeed! :)
Great video as always. I love to learn new techniques from your work. Since the Mummy holds a special place in my life thought I’d comment to try to win it. Regardless, definitely going on my project list for a future build!
Thanks a bunch Zach! It was a fun project. You should definitely do it. You re in; good luck!
Just commenting here for the support :) keep it up Dan!

I would love to win and place it in my bedroom! Great video!

I would love a piece like that ....Ihave always wanted a replica made from that particular movie ...you do awesome work man, you make it look to easy. When will you be doing another giveaway like this one
Thank a bunch for your comment. Sadly, this one is done but I try to giveaway stuff once in while. Stay tune!
So cool Daniel! Honestly, Valentine’s day is very close and this would be the perfect gift for my husband since The Mummy is his favorite movie. Also, fun fact: when he was a kid and watched the movie for the first time, his parents and siblings pranked him and told him that those scarabs were real, so he was scared for years until he was old enough to understand it was not true. 😂
Well Antonio, this is a damn good reason! I wish you the best of luck and thank you for watching! Cheers!
Great work again!
Thank you sir!
I know contest is over but man that looks sick! I want one for myself :D
Thanks! It was super fun to make :)

I would love to win this prop replica of the Scarab wall. I love the movie and have a number of other prop replicas from the film including the full set of Canopic Jars.
Allright Damian! Your in! Good luck and thanks for watching! Cheers!
Hey daniel! Did you keep the original mold of the deaths head for your cobra night slasher knife build from a while ago? If so,can produce another copy of that particular piece to purchase from you?
Hey man! I could do that. Contact me on my personal mail. daniel.lupien@outlook.com

I am a prison in Egypt that's about to be hanged for having a good time (apparently, a very good time). And the only way for me to be freed is to show my future wife proof that I have been to Hamunaptra. But, don't worry, she won't be reading from any books.
Best comment ever!!! Cheers!
@@DaBuild Thank you very much! I figured I'd leave a gold nugget that true The Mummy fans would get!!!!
