We have always wanted to interview Jean Touitou. Despite shying from the media in recent years, the discreet Jean Touitou finally invited us to the A.P.C headquarters where he spends most of his time. A few days before the show of his new collection, we talked History, his life history, fashion history and fashion. And about Kanye West.
Jean described a Kanye we had never previously heard about.He talked about a curious man with an incommensurable hunger to learn, fulled by a passion for fashion. A man eager to know all the ins and outs of the industry, from sourcing to production to presentation to the public. Before showing you our portrait of Jean Touitou, we were lucky enough to cross paths this rarely encountered Kanye, a few days later at the A.P.C offices. This is our exclusive interview, the only one given in France. We discuss the future, fashion, racism, education, street knowledge and the new collaboration between Kanye West and A.P.C.

Depuis quelque temps, nous avions envie de réaliser un portrait de Jean Touitou. De plus en plus secret et discret, Jean Touitou nous a finalement reçu dans les bureaux de sa marque A.P.C. où il passe le plus clair de son temps. A quelques jours du défilé, nous parlons de l’histoire, de son histoire, d’histoire de la mode, et de mode. Et de Kanye West.
Jean nous le décrit comme on ne nous en a jamais réellement parlé avant. Il nous parle d’un homme curieux, qui a une soif incommensurable d’apprendre et qui est animé d’une extraordinaire passion pour la mode dont il veut connaitre tous les tenants et aboutissants. Avant de vous faire découvrir le format long qui sera consacré à Jean Touitou, c’est ce Kanye West que nous avons eu la chance de rencontrer quelques jours plus tard, toujours chez A.P.C.

"Clique" mérite largement plus de notoriété ! la qualité de ses interview dépasse de loin la majorité des autres interview de stars , j'arrive pas à comprendre pourquoi cet interview à 2 fois moin de vue que l'interview "Jeremstar x la keh à mojito ou jsais pas quoi " faut croire que de nos jours plus c'est débile et plus les gens aiment....
c'est simple: il pose de vraies questions à ses invités. il n'est pas là pour les piéger et faire du buzz sur le net et passer dans le zapping. du coup il a moins de vues.
et surtout que c'est un français d'origine algérienne qui fait un putain de travail de recherche sur les personnes qu'il interviewe pour avoir un résultat de grande qualité.
et malheureusement en france on en est arrivé à un stade où lorsque tu n'es pas de type caucasien, bah tu dois faire 10 fois plus afin d'être reconnu à ta juste valeur.

si vous aimez yeezus et que vous voulez aller plus loin, écoutez death grips (exmilitary est mon album préféré), yeezus est un peu inspiré de death grips, c'en est plus ou moins une version populaire et accessible.
Kanye West is a living legend and a genius. His music goes past the feeble mind because of its diversity and uncontrollable creativity. He is the ONLY mainstream rapper that releases albums that are barely alike, always giving us new material. He is the most introspective, creative, interesting person in today's music. If you think other wise, you need to think more.

These are probably the best interviews out there. Instead of asking about what drama the artists are caught in or what they spent their money on, we get a really good look at who the artist is as a person as well as what perspective of life that they have to make the music that they make.
That arrow analogy was incredible... the cat one too. So much passion. He just freestyles this stuff right off the top. You can almost see his brain spinning working just like a computer.

Yes, it was a bit short. But he tried something new. Of course the others were great. He stepped away from the mainstream (radio) music and decided to go new routes. I truly believes he's at least 3 years advanced. People are going to appreciate Yeezus way more in the near future.
Well he was trying something new with the production, which is something I love. He wasnt trying hard enough on the actual lyrics tho, which is why I dont think this album can be on par with the other ones.

Hmmm, tu vas trop loin quand même.
J'admire ce mec, sa manière de toucher la musique est unique. Mais la personne elle même est en constante contradiction, n'assume pas certains aspect de sa personnalité et de ses dires. Un manque de franchise envers lui même et nous au quotidien alors que là c'est tout l'inverse dans cette interview, ce qui est agréable et me renvois à mon sentiment de respect envers lui.
À la différence d'un Jay Z, que beaucoup traite de menteurs ou autre, il a toujours dit ce qu'il était et ce qu'il aspirait à devenir. Sa position d'homme devenu riche, business man et dépensier, il l'a toujours assumé sans rejeter la faute sur une pression de la mode, du luxe ou autre. C'est là ou Kanye me semble faux et ou Jay me semble vrai.
Kanye j'adore l'être humain, j'idolâtre son don mais ne supporte pas l'artiste qu'il pense être.

Mouloud...A travers ce brillant entretien, tu as su exposer la vraie personne de Kanye West. J'étais comment dire...plein de préjugés sur le personnage. Le contexte de surmédiatisation a aussi sans doute joué dans mon opinion. Je découvre en fait un type sensible et intelligent qui mérite 1000 fois sa place, en tant qu'artiste.
He is so smart and such a fluent speaker. He really has a creative mind and shouldn't be judged. I think that if any of us were in his shoes we would act the same in public. It's hard to please society these days...let alone if you make a single mistake...it's all downhill from there. He is unique!
