We prefer a CMYK Adobe Illustrator file or PDF file with each color separated onto it's own artboard. All the art elements need to be 100%K Black and Vector shapes only. Any typefaces need to be outlined and you're pretty much good to go! We'll put a video together soon about how to do this! Thanks for your suggestion!
@@JukeboxPrintLive thank you, those are pretty standard for regular printing, and I'm used to those set ups. However, I'm curious how I should represent areas that are embossed or debossed in a digital file to send to you? Should those area be represented on a different layer as b&w?
Agree far to much impression, you’re not printing braille. You can only tell if impression is even by looking at the reverse side. Otherwise good video
I like their camera work. They make demonstration videos, not how-to’s, so they have no goal to make sure you see “everything”. As a new Heidelberg owner myself, I’d love a how-to vid, but not at the expense of criticizing what they do post.
please do more videos about the letterpress. Its so cool. If you can include some maintenance process of the machine would be so amazing. Thank you :)
Great idea!
I would love to see how the plates are made...
Watch pt.1 of the wedding videos :)
Do you guys have a video on how to set up files for printing to letter press? Like how to make the files to send to you guys?
