I bought my honor band 5 after watching this video. Was definitely the correct choice of me. The sleep ap true sleep is fanatic and sports modes good. I like being able to check heart rate and spo2 and it only cost 28 pounds. Its comfortable and light

The Honour Band 5 sounds like a good shout for me! I deliberately don't want a smart watch because I enjoy wearing my chronograph watch, however I want something a bit more accurate than a clip on pedometer, as I'm a keen walker! I'm also asthmatic, so the pulse oximetry feature will be great! I will check the accuracy compared to my manual pulse oximeter, but I'm sure it'll be reliable! and for £30... bargain! Plus I like the idea of having smart phone notifications on my wrist, especially when I'm not allowed my phone out at work, AND you can change the band which is good because my skin reacts wierdly to nylon and silicone. I'll let you know my thoughts once it arrives and I have the chance to use it!
Are there any advantages of Honor Magic watch 2 over the Honor Band 5, other than listed below? - Larger Display - Notifications/Calling - Music playback - GPS

Hi Vic! Good question 👌 the fact is, both HB5 and Xiaomi Mi Band 5 have 2.5D gorilla glass.. it’s already scratch resistant! I, personally, do not like nor will recommend placing screen protectors on fitness trackers👆 the displays are tiny and react to touch gestures... as soon as you get into a pool or break a sweat and moist hits the screen protector.. you’re done..😢 I’ve had the HB5 for a year, it was heavily used, give it a good wipe and it looks brand new!🔥
Sure Vic! You see, I am getting fitter as I have started the Wesknows channel, doing runs and swims and so forth - in the process of testing out the wearables. Hence my choice is Hono Band 5.. the goal based sports and exercises are a must for my gym and swimming trainings! On the other hand, If I was simply counting steps and looking out for general wellness then the Xiaomi Mi Band 5 suits better. The auto activity recognition, 1.1" AMOLED display, stress monitor, breathing and relaxation app.. to name a few!:)

In regards to tracking calories and general health metrics I would recommend the Xiaomi Mi Band 5 - it's definitely more advanced and after all it is a year newer than the Honor Band 5, the CPU is faster and the heart rate sensor is more advanced! Hi Shyam! Both bands have very similar sensors.. the figures are roughly the same, but the goal based feature on HB5 is better fit for working out!💪

I doubt it because SpO2 is measured with an infrared sensor, the mi band 5 doesn’t have one
