I can't stand some of his movies (Though I also really like some of them. He's 50/50 for me), but as a person I can't see how anyone could dislike him. He knows how to make fun of himself, he treats his actors extremely well, he has probably the only Hollywood marriage worth admiring, he's done a lot for Suicide Prevention, and the fact that he's even able to go on with his career after what happened is insanely inspirational. Honestly, I'd love to see him direct a biopic of himself. With his crazy slow-mo and whatnot.
He actually didn't see it because Deborah Snyder (wife and co-producer on his movies) and Christopher Nolan (good friend and colleague) saw Josstice League first and told him to not see it for a multitude of reasons. If he did see it, it would've been a major punch in the gut of how the studio took apart a movie he made for his daughter, took about 20% of that movie, re-colored it, then reshot 80% of it. It would've been devastating.

I can answer the "Is Zack Snyder Nice?" I was a zombie in the Army of the Dead movie and he shook all the actors hands and picked out the best zombies for scenes. He was such a nice guy and was so down to earth.
I went to high school with Zack’s brother, Sam. He was a wonderful guy. I never met Zack, but I follow his career and think how proud Sam would have been.

There's definitely a few scenes that were improved in the Theatrical cut, especially during Sewer fight (eg Steppenwolf's dialogue to Diana about killing here people, Flash's slow motions scene helping Diana get her sword which was entirely pointless in the Snyder cut.. It became a global phenomenon too, and was SO good, that it even got people to take another look at the previous 2 movies, to the point where every single blu ray of them SOLD OUT WORLDWIDE.

Totally makes sense. There's definitely a few scenes that were improved in the Theatrical cut, especially during Sewer fight (eg Steppenwolf's dialogue to Diana about killing here people, Flash's slow motions scene helping Diana get her sword which was entirely pointless in the Snyder cut.. However most of the movie is still better in the Snyder Cut
