It’s a demo this was probably the one that made Rihanna want it tbh, back in the day autotune was used in almost every song & I think it was made to go with the best & Instrumental of this song. They do not put songs in autotune just in case they leak, artist don’t plan on demos or songs leaking, that’s why it’s called a demo, in fact most demos that leak don’t have a autotune or effects added to the vocals yet, so again that makes no sense why they would keep a file of a version that’s just got autotune everywhere.

She's not into writing her own songs like other big singers out there but if she'll focus on song writing she might have a hit that is actually hers.. The king 98 ANTI is truly the first album she’s showcased her songwriting as she had the most input in that album. But you’re right, it’s a hard craft and it’s easier to have a songwriter camp and just edit a line here and there
these are just demos never officially released they are officially rihanna's songs they were specifically made or sold to/for her because the writer felt she suited it best they are still original song rihanna just did not write them what's not clicking
