It's a lovely stretch but even the calder will fish for dace. There spread out from as low down as Penwortham all the way too hodder and calder at the moment . Next two weeks on any of the stretch,s will be amazing

Had some good bags of Dace & Roach on that stretch, nice deep pools but young ducklings can be a pain in June onwards.

It was very cold. We recon zero in the wind chill. I lost alot of tackle but think I've sussed it for another trip. Youle like it there
