This is my set up, Healer Mimic(inside dungeon) #77, 79, 12, 9, 58, 59, 45, 47, 48, 78, 104, 103, 90, 32, 63, 88, 94, 101, 60, 43, 73, 81, 30, 91 (#101/94 works on all mobs inside dungeons apply that DoT when you can, sonic for my 1s keep moving!, Gobskin always, like Liam said save your AoEs for the adds it's not a rush, don't mess the elephants and they won't mess with you). (Outside dungeon)- replace the last three spells with #56, 33, 92. I've completed all the dungeons with healer and I've hardly had issues but don't forget max food for the vitality boost as it helps greatly and Gobskin Gobskin Gobskin. Great work on the video and info! I'll have to test tank mimic now.
Thank you very much for all your great Blue mage guides. I am really enjoying them. Never picked up blue mage before, untill I saw one of your guides. I thought it would be weird only solo content in a MMO, but I was wrong. I really enjoy it, but I still have a lot to learn, so I will keep watching your great guides. Finally someone on YT who explains things really good, without crazy fast speaking. Not everyone have English as their main language. Keep up the really good work you do. 😘
Glad you like them! I do try to talk extra slow, since normally I'm a fast speaker.. so I'm very pleased you noticed! If anything is ever unclear feel free to call me out and I'd be happy to clarify.
I would still love to see your guide to the 3 Alex Savage Blu fights for the morbol mount. Thanks for this video too. Very much looking forward to the next mog tome event now...
I promise I haven't forgotten about these! It's been a rough year for me so it's been hard to do those sorts of super-detailed videos. I can provide an actual update here, though: I like to cover all mechanics in a fight so there are no gaps, but it turns out we skip most mechanics in the easier fights. This resulted in me having an A4 video ready to go, but it was _way_ too long and tough to digest. Instead what I'm going to do is switch to having a fully fleshed-out written guide with an accompanying slimmed-down video covering only the mechs we would expect to see. I've started this process for A4 and you can see the written portion here: bit.ly/3sIIzHi This should make the process a lot easier for me. Video editing is still not one of my strong suits, so trimming that part down means I can produce higher quality stuff. I'm also helping some groups clear A8 and A12 so I'll have good video footage for those, but will work on the written ones in the meantime. Once I've done the Alexander fights, I'll try to revisit the Omega fights and then the Bahamut fights again (since those were before level 70 spells were available). As always if you want the most up-to-date information/links for these, join the Discord: discord.gg/eeF5mdk
I like healer mimic for these a lot personally, but the tankbusters do get really frightening. Luckily there's a pretty easy solution in the shifting altars: a lot of them can be stunned, so chain casting (or swiftcasting) perpetual ray until it stuns the actual buster will give you some breathing room to do actual damage
Yeah, stunning is pretty good! I still find myself struggling with the matanga groups even with that, though. Healer mimicry can work I just found tank much more consistent myself. :)
@@BlueAcademy the few attempts I've done, it definitely seems like aggroing the matanga while dealing with bosses that have tankbusters is a death sentence, so I try really hard not to so that they despawn, haha
Could you show your items and materia? I've tried to do your guide for carnivale and raids for achievements 'mightier than...' and I always found you seem to progress much easier than me. I assume this must be because of equipments and materia. For the record, ATM my lv 70 BLU use 400 ilvl from quests and materia used is either crit or determination
if your using level 70 poetics gear, scavean i believe, you will be fine. Ive got all the spells and finished the masked carnivale, ive learned a lot of it is he just executes things reallt well.
I use the Elemental set outlined here: th-cam.com/video/f-k9HltIwJ0/w-d-xo.html For level 50/60 stuff I use a set that syncs down to max SpS/Det stats. Gear largely shouldn't matter if you have appropriate ilvl, it probably just comes down to experience and execution as @utoobguy30 said.
maybe you should go over what would be the required spells? It is very hard to follow along such a badly improvised guide where you kinda just yap instead of having something structured ready. Not everyone has every spell and knows what every spell does, it would be helpful to know which ones I should go out to get before, and which ones aren't necessarily required, and what I could use instead if I don't have something. It's like you're making a guide for people who don't need a guide
The guide from "The Nasty Namzu" might be one you wanna watch. It came out a couple days ago, and is up to date. Believe he says or shows all the spells you want

@@Setzina Dang that's smart. My potato brain just wants to start blasting. I'll have to try it next time!
Does this work any differently now that stats are different? I can't get my friends to burn 70 maps with me anymore so I'm looking for solutions.
Nope, it's the same!
What plug-ins you using for the HP and cast bar?
Is Blue Mage getting Level 80 in Endwalker? I would like to use it to farm Shell leather...
Could we do this with lvl60 maps as well?
Yep. Its actually easier in Aquapolis too

@@BlueAcademy thanks, I'll try checking the video
Is this guide out of date? Pom Cure without healer mimicry is healing for like 950. Definitely not worth taking
this was before stat squish, your hp is now 1/3rd so the healing is also 1/3rd of whats in this video
