- My 9-year-old seat covers in my Lexus RX350 have worn out quite badly and something needs to be done! Came across DK SCHWEIZER that offers leather seat covers and upholstery personalisation. Sat down with their designers to work on my preferred look and feel - Now, this is it! Time to remove the old covers and have my Aston Martin DBX inspired interior done up! Finally a proper a video about car seat leather upholstery
Back in 2015 when purchasing new car, it didnt come with leather seat. So i asked SA to get leather seat and all i said was i want it to be black and nothing fancy. Upon collecting the car from showroom, the leather seats were installed and looked good. SA didnt tell me what brand until i found the receipt in glovebox, DK Schweizer. The leather still in good condition with minimal conditioning.

For someone who got boring with the car interior, 7k is cheaper than changing to a new car.
It's worth it if you got a reliable car that's gonna last, like a Lexus, but if you've got anything from Europe or America, just go ahead and by a new car … preferably not European or America next time! My 200,000+ Toyota was far more reliable than my friend's European (German) cars, with a 1/4 of the mileage ... and far more reliable than my brother's Porsche!

Value for money. Ive heard people paying RM4k and the leather just crack within 3 month. This u get a custom leather seats for 4k

4.5k is acceptable price for this quality, good job.
2.5k for the whole Alcantrara wrapped headliner is actually not very expensive, Alcantara itself isn't a cheap material to begin with

Nice video man! I also did a 100% customization on my Volvo C40 and had the same happy happy happy feeling as you are having. There something about having a bespoke thing for you and knowing that it is a unique piece. A had chestnut full leather seats with Mercedes style perforation, silver stichting and aso my own design. Love it!

Awesome review by GC and Autobuzz team! Been experienced with DK Leather Seats by changing semi leather seats from fabric 6 years ago, the sales advisor did a good job by giving us the comfortable looking colour (match with interior car).

Overall material mixture and design is superb, but I kinda feel the alcantara strip on the center arm rest a bit weird. 😂

I was looking around to change the seat covers in my car as well, and who better to trust than my. very own pal, GC. You convinced me to go to DK, bro - though the Alcantara overkill can be a bit too much for me. But hey, you only live once! I was expecting a five figure price tag, and was pleasantly surprised at the price, too.
By the way, putting your face on the seat can be a bit soey - unless you want chicks to sit on it.

its a great deal for the price like imagine a old not so old like 2014 and u plan to use the at least another 5 years but the car was expensive its total 100 worth it
For someone who don't have that amount of money, I would say all this worth the 7k. Full customisation nonetheless. Alcantara is truly a symbol of luxury.
One thing i know for sure (and probably everyone), normal leather seats in hot sunny day(probably) and you are midly sweaty, you end up having your skin feel like getting stuck in glue whenever you adjust yourself.
So, I think having Alcantara seats or Nappa Leather ones from the CX8 or the XC90 is better than in my opinion
ya with our malaysia's hot humid wheather, i am not a fan of leather too. prefer high quality cloth/wool/alcantara
come to think about it's actually quite awesome on the interior btw I'm also a huge fan of alcantara mostly from lambo's and Aston themselves. Nice colour combination you have there @GC Mah 11/10 rating I give you for the interior. #DRX #mantapinterior

Wow that’s nice! I own a 2019 vw Passat with light grey roof liner. I’m contemplating to go all black once the roof liner sags. Just wondering if DK would also respray the other items to match the black head liner ie: handles, seat belt adjusters, roof instrument switches etc..

Went quoting at carzone interior, personalisation scale lesser than this, i just wanted to change dashboard leather & all door panels (half of the door) + the arm rest and is already quoting at RM7k.😱
