I’ve been playing siege for about a year and I have never seen sens played
attacking isn’t easy plus sense makes it more difficult Evan for themselves witch is frustrating because they can block line of sight but usually doesn’t affect anyone negatively but themselves or others indirectly

I'm with the Kudos' school of thought that we have enough gadgets that ping. I think a decent option short of a rework being the ability to block sound as well as sight, and the sight disruption applying to proximity-based gadgets too.

Sens gadget should block defenders cameras like a observation blocker. I feel like this would be enough to make him meta.

Just give Sens the same treatment as Glaz by giving them back the Gonne-6 but still keep the frag grenades. Better yet, give them the M870 shotgun and they’ll be a buff version of the OG recruit rush loadout.
If players want to be decent at playing Sens all they have to do is practice each maps at the training grounds or in custom games. With the new previsualize projectile aim assist there should be no further excuses. They’re already have level 3 speed, an ACOG, and frag grenades. What more does they need?

@@Neon1880 Warden hard counters still, and smoke toxic gas does too in a way, not to mention just throwing a Nitro Cell. Sens can ONLY see through his gadget screens, not smoke grenades too.

I think that screen blinding effect should only affect enemies, and be stronger. If you’re playing sens and stand in the middle of your projector, you’re completely blind but the enemy can see you clearly. It also just makes it a living hell to see where you are standing.
Making it only affect enemies and making it more blinding could set up strats where you almost use it as a long lasting flash grenade

Nah walking through it and getting pinged would just mean they could easily cut off a room and anyone who tries to push past the other side just gets punished when they’re already disadvantaged in going through a smoke screen
what they can do is to make that when u throw the sens u can like make a 90 degree wall with it by pressing left or right when u want to set the 90 wall
it needs to be slightly louder as to mask footsteps maybe and also needs to ping enemies that walk into it or are hit by it not gunfire in my opinion shooting it to ping seems like too much, i do like drone idea also, i think they should also up the duration that it is up

I think another interesting Idea for Sens would be like having a pistol that shot out a Dart similar to Zero, and once it sticks it creates a curtain from the point of where you shot from. Building off that you, you could switch it similar to hibana and shoot two darts that would connect to each other. So you basically set up the two points and they connect. Maybe even allow it to connect tthrough walls. Or better yet, you shoot the dart, the dart becomes a cam, and from that cam you can shoot the second point from that cam dart that creates the curtain. That would be cool. Cause not only would it operate as a cam, but then you could create a curtain from that cam to maybe cover a planter or blind enemy POV.
Ok so this might be a broken idea but I think what they could do is make it like a mira but you can shoot through it and can destroy the projections. He'd need gadget nerfs like maybe only give him 2 ROUs and make the distance of it shorter but I think this would give a lot more play than a smoke grenade with extra steps. I'm not sure how the bouncing off surfaces would work so maybe remove that feature.

In my opinion, I feel like sens gadget could be like yings ability so you would be the only one that could see through the smoke, also would be cool if it deploys like yings candelas so if you hold it a little bit longer, you would deploy the smoke immediately, and if you immediately throw it, it would take a couple seconds to start deploying the smoke. Would be too op if you could shoot through the smoke and it would be like glaz with smoke grenades.
His gadget is sometimes unpredictable where it goes compared to a smoke grenade because you decide where to throw it

As a sens player I think it’s the usage that’s important, although his gadget ain’t the greatest it still has its uses like quick plant, sneaking,and flanking.

I've gotten really good plays with him ( it's just the gun, I do really good with it or really bad, the recoil is a bit iffy )
I'm kinda a masochist, I like playing usually the bad characters cuz their the most fun and are usually pretty underrated... and I think sems is exactly that, i just needa learn and try more lol
The ping idea is brilliant and I had an idea if it would work like Demos where you can toggle it to where as it’s rolling you can cancel or make it stop like you can toggle with another button to make it stop because a lot of times it keeps going when I don’t want it to and it will bounce and mess something up like in a small room or hall😭👀

try holo sight and horizontal on sens, make use of the movespeed and ROU and get into site and frag out
I use acog and vertical , but that strat is the best sens strat ever
My proposed buffs that i have posted in other places. My buffs do not change the original purpose of the gadget and i think that they are small enough that they will be the thing Sens needs. However, many of my buffs do relate to minimising the amount of counters Sens has because Sens has WAY too many counters for no reason.
I am a Sens main and the POF-9 I believe is my most used gun, although I used to use it more back before the recoil "buff", I am PC and the recoil was pretty easy and is way way easier now. Also according to R6 tracker i think the POF-9 has the second most kills.
The gadget is the thing holding Sens back. Too easily countered. Not only does it have the same counters as normal smokes but it has additional ones on top of that because it is electronic and prone to explosives.
Ideas for buffs include
Nerf frag grenade radius (you wouldn't understand what I'm cooking, or I guess not cooking) or make the emitters immune to explosives (so the R.O.U device itself is still shoot-able and explosive prone).
Make it so bullet proof and evil eye cameras cannot see through specifically Sens' smoke. BP and Evil Eye will still be able to see through normal smoke and BP will still be able to EMP burst a hole open in the R.O.U smoke but they obviously have less information.
Make it so wamai can't grab it (Jager is still able to vaporise the R.O.U).
Also possibly increase height of the smoked walls because you are very rarely in a position where seeing over them benefits you (most cases an enemy will spot you over it).
The ideas for buffs go in order of introduction. So sequential buffs added if needed instead of at the same time.
You'll notice I didn't include anything about Warden and that's because it's fine that warden counters Sens. The main problem is that almost every character in the game counters Sens because so many operators have either BulletProof Camera, Impact Grenades or C4.
Almost every defender can counter Sens, which means in like 99% of games the defenders can bring any team and have something that will counter Sens.
It's easier to say who doesn't have something to counter Sens:
Thorn, Oryx, Alibi, Ela, Smoke (kinda, since he can gas through the smoke depending on how big the area closed off is), Tachanka (kinda, same as smoke).
I am aware that for many operators, BP cams may not be meta pick but if first round there's a sens then one slight loadout change will stop Sens in the next round. Immune to explosives will mean that many of these operators will not make Sens smoke useless when trying to plant.
Ying sens and most important GLAZZZ it’s a lil situational but with a good moving team, you can cut off site plant they can’t hear or see if ying helping and glaz can see thru the sens smoke. sens is like my favorite but yeah you gotta be good and have a head on your shoulder
Simple fix, give Sens an adjustable option where the wheel goes horizontal.
Other ideas:
Deals damage when walked through
Have it blur your screen if you look at it
Make it a one way mirror
They could even give him a toggle for multiple options so he can have a ping mode damage mode,or mirror mode this xan be easily balanced by only giving him 2 or making the duration longer or shorter

When you stand in an ROU, it fogs up the whole screen, if Sens or even the whole attacking team was immune to that it would be a good change.
It would be more interesting if the screen stayed up permanently and the onus is on the defenders to remove it through explosions or shooting the individual emitters, like trax really.
If you could choose if they bounce off wall that would be nice too

I think he should be able to see through it slightly, but everything is tinted green. Kinda like a worse glaz but it only works with his projector.

He is great for covering long patches of area and great for planting. He is actually one of my most picked operators since bomb is the primary game mode.

I think he should be able to see through his gadget but reduce the amount he has or leave it where it is.
Honestly, Varsity probably has the right idea with the pinging, plus it would make sense in game, alibi has holograms that ping, so sen's holograms pinging makes sense. Also it would justify sens having so many counters.

Sens' AR feels like an SMG because it *is* an SMG. It shoots 9mm.

I think his gun is too weak, should increase the damage of the AR. Also think that the barrier that deploys should be taller and makes more audible sound when deployed to cover footsteps but not enough audio to cover running. The barrier should also be able to block wardens ability and bulletproof cams so he cant see through.

Just nerf warden so his glasses can't see through Sense's ROU. Not fair that a single operator can make another completely obsolete and a determent to their team.

Defenders like warden need to stand still to see through the wall and other defender walk through his ability should be pinged momentarily like when you move with lion but not jackels otherwise he will never see his true potential forever stuck between dog water or perma ban

In my opinion I use him. And I like him. I think his weapon sucks and his gadget is great for defending teammates with it. I will say they need to better his damage with the weapon or replace it, if not then a 3 armor will be nice on him.and let you control the way you can throw the gadget. As well it should be bulletproof. Pinging players will be op. But you can still mute jam it, or explode it which will cause defenders to be careful and what they use their gadgets on.

Sens is not that bad. He had a dmr and hard breach. Use his roi's after plant to hide the bomb. The rois are also really strong on the long hallways on Kafe use one to run down to the other end without getting picked off from a corner when you run by.

crossplay's been out for a year and you can't crossplau between pc and console unless its a custom game
The ping idea is a very weak buff, there's already a whole attacking team's worth of ping operators. Sens's flaws are the extreme amount of counters (smoke grenades have less), how slow the walls appear, the amount of things the ROU can bounce off of and ruin the execute, and the lack of a reason to pick them. Sens needs a Tachanka level rework
I agree that Sens' main flaw is the amount of counters they have. And I think if they lessen the amount of counters Sens will be a playable operator.
