- We now have ONE day to make the cabin ready for us to sleep in and live in.
Of course it doesn't have to be finished, but it needs to be livable for the four of us. And we still don't have a floor!
There's only one thing to do: Work!

In a way, I'm happy that summer is over because I can't handle hot weather - 22°C is too warm for me, never mind 32°C !!! 😵

Hey! You guys are making so much progress! The cottage is really coming together. Sometimes it is good with deadlines to work a bit faster. I hope you had a fun time with the family! Im waiting until next spring to start ripping out the old floor. I wonder if there is also soot underneath. 😄I will focus on repairing some of the old roof tiles in Siskola for now. @@AnnieJulian Thank you! There is lots to do but I’m enjoying the process. 😊 Lately I have been researching what I can find about making a garden and greenhouse. I got some old windows yesterday that I want to use. I don’t have much experience gardening but plan on doing it next spring.

And again: it's a cottage. A cabin is only one room with a "kitchen" in one corner. Your place is a cottage, en stugan, where there's separate rooms. The living room were called "kammaren".
We also have our big cottage, so to not confuse, we call the little one our cabin. It's much easier for us and for you who is watching, and for TH-cam, where thousands of other people also call such a house a cabin.
