How to go through doorways? It seems it may be too wide and would not fit through doors.

Can you use this with only one hand mobility. My husband uses a hemi and is always hunched over.

Hi Roy, Medicare has reduced their funding to cover mobility devices and as a manufacturer, we are not a Medicare approved provider. However, based on some customers' experiences, your UPWalker may be potentially reimbursable subject to receiving Physician Authorization from your doctor, submitted to your insurance that justifies medical necessity for "at-home" use. There are HCPCS codes that could apply but it is at 100% discretion of your Insurance Provider and/or Medicare to make that determination. They could offer all, some or no reimbursement. Unfortunately we do not control this, but we do hope you have success in pursuing it with your insurance provider, with the support of your physician. These people don't look like these even need a walker. They should be using MY 6'4", 265-lb husband to prove its effectiveness. He can hardly move these days. In 6 months he has gone from walking without pain to needing 2 canes and in debilitating pain! I'd love for him to try one of these so we can send video proof.

Hi Debbie, thanks for your message and sorry to hear about your husband's mobility issues. Upright canes can be a useful tool for seniors looking to stay mobile but nothing like the UPWalker Large which DOES adjust to someone as tall as your husband (6'4" and 265 lbs). DO NOT BUY!
Poor product. My old man very gently, and rarely used his walker, and only ever inside. His walker developed a failure in one of its rear wheels within months of having it. The company's contact details are a deathly, trust destroying, silence. No way to buy replacement parts, no support, no refunds, no nothing. £500 + for a cunfused and disappointed old Dad. Ain't capitalism great!
