The next climbing spot in #Slovenia takes us to #Bohinj. There are three crags around Bovec and we decide to #climb at a spot close to the village Kal.
The walk to the crag takes about 15 minutes and there are some amazing easy climbs at the first sector. The second sector is very bouldery and routes between 5b and 6a are very tricky and technical.
Our first spot in the beautiful area of Lake #Bohinj is a huge wall near the village of Bitnje. We had a full day of #climbing there. There are many routes at the grad of 8b but also some easier routes for us. As usual for Slovenia, this spot is very well bolted. #Slovenia is an amazing country with a beautiufl nature and good rock.

Beim Klettern unterscheidet man zwischen Vor- und Nachstieg. Im Nachstieg ist das Seil schon oben in der "Umlenkung" eingehängt. Beim Vorstieg klettert man von Haken zu Haken. Im Fels sind in mehr oder weniger großen Abständen Bohr- oder Klebehaken angebracht. In diese Haken hängt man eine sogenannte "Expressschlinge" ein. Diese Expressschlingen sind das Bindeglied zwischen Seil und Haken am Fels. Zwischen den Haken ist der Vorsteiger zwar durch die letzte Zwischensicherung am Haken gesichert, aber wenn er fällt, dann fällt er mindestens den doppelten Weg, den er seit dem letzten Haken zurückgelegt hat plus Seildehnung und Faktoren die vom Sicherungspartner abhängen. Für den Vorstieg braucht man sehr viel mehr Mut, Klettererfahrung, Einschätzungsvermögen ... als für den Nachstieg ;-). Puh, schwierig zu erklären. Falls Du noch Fragen hast, immer gerne ;-). @@MakeItLookEasyClimbing Vielen lieben Dank :-)) Tolle Erklärung und auch für einen Laien wie mich zu verstehen :-)) Ich habe auch verstanden, dass wenn man beim Vorstieg abrutscht man sich ganz schöne Verletzungen zuziehen kann durch die Fallhöhe.
