I was diagnosed with ALL leukemia on May 3, 2020 at the age of 39. My initial white blood count was 147,000. After an induction phase of 30 consecutive days in the hospital, and incredibly high doses of multiple chemotherapies, I was discharged in remission. I followed up with weekly blood transfusions, and every 3rd week I would return for another 8-14 days of chemotherapy. After 8 rounds of these treatments, I began monthly infusions of 2mg’s of Vincristine, along with 70mg’s daily of a chemotherapy pill called Sprycel. So far, all bone marrow biopsies have shown undetectable levels of cancer, and come September 2022, I will complete the treatment regimen and continue the Sprycel indefinitely. God bless every single person that cancer has reached, wether it’s the family members or the patients.
I love this comment my mom was diagnosed with Leukemia 31 December 2021 and it's terrible, but this Monday we found that the chemotherapy gave results, we are happy for that, sadly the chemotherapy affected her liver and now we are waiting the doctors to heal it a keep moving with reinforcement chemotherapy and the bone marrow transplant. Keep spreading your story, trust me when I tell you that it helps.
I hope your treatment is going well. I also got diagnosed with ALL at age 23 in August of 2021, I’ve also gone through countless rounds of chemotherapies, I will soon get a Stem Cell Transplant. May God Bless everyone fighting cancer 🙏
My mother in law has just been told she has Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. She has Rheumatoid arthritis and was taking methotrexate since April 2021. She started with stomach issues about a month ago. And just on Saturday we find out she leukemia. We are so heartbroken. Also she is a Jehova Witness so she can’t get any blood transfusion.
@@julianarbelaez2928 she passed away after we were told she only had 2 weeks to live. I believe the RA medicine made her week . And her cancer finished her off.
@@julianarbelaez2928 make sure you get different opinions from different doctors. Also if you are working with oncology make sure to work with someone with bone doctor. They might have different opinions as well.
