This might be obvious but I suppose you need to add seam allowance when you cut the fabric to all of the edges. With the bands do you sew those on right sides together and then overlock the seam allowance? What is the closure on the back?

Might be the volume level on your device. I viewed this on my Motorola Moto e phone and the volume was perfect. Maybe check your device/computer settings.

You never showed how to get bust width.
