The people in Calabria are some of the nicest warmest friendliest in the world it's not a fancy part of Italy but it's certainly the most friendly and real people you could ever find

Agreed! The South and Sicily are so different than the North (no offense to the Northern Italians) - not fancy but sincere and warm. And the food is awesome.
