    Heat is an American Epic that has stood the test of time as one of the greatest films ever made. Arguably, the best film of the 90s. Rich gets the best interviews.

      He instantly became one of my favorite writers - I'm 3/4 of the way through Heat 2 - trying to pace myself. I absolutely abhor sequels of any kind, but he has written something so good that I'm eager for the movie.

    Wait he doesn't mention that LA Takedown was made as a TV movie! Rich doesn't know Mann actually made a baby Heat movie. Look up the heist scene in LA Takedown

    Amy Brenneman character Eady, her house in the movie is the same house used for the Bosch series.

    This was a complex look into emotions.."he doesnt know whats gonna happen" sounds like the best takes can be the 1st or 3rd but rehearsing would take away from the realness in situations

    Just Google MADE IN L.A. VHS😁👍🏻

    You know a film is a modern gold standard when MULTIPLE crime films since released “borrow” from it, if not downright copy it .. even Mann himself mimicked his own work by the way in which he filmed certain parts of Public Enemies

    the TH-cam algorithm has turned into a cannibal, and deletes links even when it's a TH-cam link, so I put the title of the video where All Pacino and Robert De Niro talk about rehearsal !! here is the title : Robert De Niro, Al Pacino, Michael Mann Share Stories Of Making ‘Heat’

      Nah leave the classic movie alone. They would ruin a sequel with the modern era theme. I love (heat 1995) tho

    • @legoboy48
      @legoboy48 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@BIGB347 Heat 2 is already a novel that explores what happened in the 6-7 years before the movie and the years after it. A Heat 2 movie would be an adaptation of the novel.
