Great video with a thorough explanation of the functions of the keypad. I have a question about mine. The home button light is blinking. Do you have any idea what that means?
Very helpful video. What version is the firmware on the keypad? Not sure if it's because I'm on an older firmware PTK5507 v 1.12 but I noticed I don't have the "display option" menu to enable "clock mode". Also, on my keypad, enter zone status and bypassing is slow (2 seconds per zone). Could this also be due to older firmware? Or perhaps PTK5507 is slower overall and the newer Neo based keypad.
Yeah I had to mess around with the size of the photos. I can’t remember what size though, it’s been a while. Also you can’t have anything else on SD other than the pics you want on it.
Dealers set their own pricing, especially if it includes wire run, mounting, programming and testing. The difference between HS2LCD and HS2TCHP should NOT be $800. The numbers referenced above, 55xx and 57xx are probably referring the PowerSeries PC1616/1832/1864, not the Neo platform. PK/RFK55xx versus PTK5507 would be the correct part numbers though....

How do you reset the keypad after a replacement battery or Tamper alert?
How do you arm with Stay, No Entry Delay? Arming with the "Stay Arm" button arms with a entry delay.
Thank you, you did a nice job explaining the functions. Thumbs up!

I can't seem to get pics on the system. I loaded pics on the sd card and popped it in. It says "no photos found"
Were you able to figure it out? I'm having the same problem

Can i have touch screen key pad only in my system?
Please you have any ideea why in my menu I dont have keypad config option ?
How do you enroll the PTK5507... When power came on, No Enrollment came upon my screen... All my zones are open...
Can you control thermostats, lights, or locks through this keypad?
I'm sure you could. You would link an output to a relay and control lights for example through the output on the keypad.
In the installer menu, can you set zone definitions?
Why are these so expensive? The walk between the 55xx and the 57xx is $800. Should be more like $100 upgrade if DSC want to sell these units.

Yes, that's correct.

Yes
good job
That shall help me
Based on Amazon pricing.
I love the cuts in this video. Half the time these keyoads do not work. Don't buy them. V1.4 has a little kid chewing on a toys as the home screen.
So...
