I was meditating with a small clear quartz one afternoon and later on that evening at my church I saw a person in spirit . I felt her brush up against me. When I looked she vanished. It was the first time I actually saw an apparition. I'm not normally clairvoyant though. I think it was because I was meditating with the quartz crystal.

GOD created everything to serve a function. It can be used for good OR evil. Reading the Bible, might protect onebagainst spiritual adversity, but it won't cure you of physical afflictions, nor blockages of energy (which can themselves be caused by crystals in some way or another). Crystals certainly shouldn't be used in some sort of attempt to *_substitute_* what GOD is there for - perhaps that's what you might've really meant by your comment??
