I have some good news for you - your Deviate Nitro 3s have a full length carbon plate, so no real need to "go carbon"! I like my Deviates. They are not the lightest, but they wear well, which is good compensation.
Nice one Tim, "Tactics are for wimps" 😂😂 indeed, but it certainly paid off 😁👏👏👍 good group to pace round with by the looks of it and you put a big dent in that previous best 😉👌
Just brilliant Marm! On the subject of rude wearable devices, I've got a new garmin and its done nothing but put me down from they day I bought it. On the plus side, it doesn't hand out as many de-merit points as my old one. I've got Lucca parkrun tomorrow. You actually run around the entire perimeter of the city apparently.
Well done Tim brilliant going your hard work has paid off keep going also hoping after watching this I my next step of legs for pb at haresfield 5k Wednesday chest mount ready to go and film to loving it also still really hoping will get chance to meet you one day I’ll get you in the vlog
Congratulations! Fantastic running! I once had a builder ask me if I wanted to go on the roof to look at some work he'd done on our chimney. I politely declined!
Congratulations another damn good watch, ran my slowest ever Parkrun last week ran it in middle of doing a 1/2 marathon plod ended up running home 25 k , my longest run ever rather late in live into the running game me
@@middleagedrunningman- too late to suggest Walsall 😂 Bit more out of your way is Severn Valley. Brilliant downhill start, over a lovely bridges crossing the Severn, 2 laps of the woods and a monster climb to the finish, and if you’re lucky, the steam train will pass right next to the run route. Good luck with the Autumn Extravaganza 🍂
In your face Geoff!!! Well done MARM! Honestly thought you were reliant on greasing the wheels of the oaklands time keeper you liked to get your sub 18!
Hats off, sir. Now the hurly burly is done. The battle not lost, but won. Guess what we did for O Level English Lit... You should still go to Walsall for the lolz.
Fantastic Running Tim. Without last weeks saboteur I knew you’d nail it. That lady was like the Irish priest who attacked Vanderlei de Lima in the Olympic Marathon.(well maybe not - I’m sure she’s a lovely woman). But content is content!!!
Is that a new jingle? I was expecting the usual "ooh ooh ooh" intro :) If you're thinking of a new opening theme song, you might want to consider timeless classics such as "You're in the Marmy now" or "Fear of the Marm"! :D P.S. congrats on a sub 18 parkrun, well deserved.
Magnificent running MARM. I may have to summons VAR as Im afraid finish times like this are not really associated with MARMERS. PS my wife introduced me to Shelley - Lovely Stuff 👏👏
Woo hoo! 🎉🥳 Congratulations on the PB! Wow, below 18. There may never be any coming back from that builder’s humiliation. You may need to move after renovations are complete. 😂🤦🏻♀️🥸
Hi . Just enquiring if you have any dates available to stay in your deluxe toilet in September. If you could have a copy of parkrun weekly and Shakespeares greatest quotes available too . Thanks Jim 🎉😊💩
This weekend I have witnessed commitment to the nth degree... Now I am relatively obsessed with running ridiculous distances and running a lot... Thus, because I was off to a music festival this weekend I crammed all training blocks into pre festy and went off to join the great unwashed for some good old fashioned debauchery (chai tea and Richard ashcroft with glitter and sequins) imagine my horror when whilst rambling down to find some wholesome brekky( manufactured from unicorn smiles) I was forced to take evasive action whilst the FESTIVAL PARKRUN happened.... I found myself nodding along and tutting with all the other folk.. Bloody fools, this is a festival, how very dare they wear lycra and puff around it.. I went a bit judas and pretended I was horrified 🎉... To be fair the most shocking thing was that one of them had a hydration vest.. FOR 5K FFS...
Recently started running at almost 59yo and gasped my way around my 2nd park run Saturday. Your times are mental, and my runs nowhere near as hilarious as watching your escapades😅
Yes MARM, awesome time mate, like speedy Gonzales around the course. What, no razzle magazine for the bathroom?….probably a good idea actually as you’ll end up spending a fortune on toilet paper and bleach.
I've run Stratford too (lovely place).... heads up if you run in the park (Opposite The Holy Trinity)..... dogs of leads.... (it's it ok he won't hurt you)....
I knew you'd do it at stratford. Walsall would be a few seconds quicker at most, they are very similar. I suspect walsall is higher up the league table mainly due to attracting a lot of fast runners rather than being a faster course.
Sub 17 at Walsall none of that funny green stuff grass in the desolate concrete wasteland of the arboretum to slow you down Plus the Doberman and Rottweilers will keep you on your toes Where you going for number 6 ?
Stratford fast but boring 3 laps...go try something more interesting like Leamington not as quick but a beautiful challenging course...congrats on your time 🙂
Great running you looked fresh at the end.thanks for the ypdate in the conversion.thanks again
Always keep you updated on the loft Paul.
Awesome run Tim, knew you’d do it. Stratford is a great course, my PB is there too. Good few years back now though.
Get back out there Alan. They love a MARM at Stratford.
My home psrkrun so glad you enjoyed it and congratulations on your time. Brilliant
Loved it Louise!! Great home course.

I love my Deviants.
Awesome run MARM. I knew you had it in you! Inspiring for people our age.
Thanks Merv. Grey is great.
Mate, we were absolutely delighted for you and willing you on during the last lap. Absolutely phenomenal Tim. Dean and Tasha
Thanks both. I was absolutely delighted. Couldn’t celebrate on camera. Wasn’t parkrun official by then!!
Awesome Tim! I’ll head down to Stratford and have a go at a PB at some point. Walsall next then? Think how fast you could be with the mob chasing you!
I know. Hot reception no doubt awaits!!
Well done, everyone gets their pb's at Stratford, myself included. A beautiful place too, shame we weren't there to see you
In the future no doubt!! Really enjoyed it.
Massive congrats and kudos to you Marm! Awesome running! 💪😊👍
Thanks Damien!! Well chuffed

Great work Shane.
Right.
Sandwell. Coming for you!!

@shanefish71 yes. Absolutely NOT a race.
Incredible! Awesome work, Tim! 🎉👏👏 congrats on the new PB and hitting your milestone!
Cheers Dave, was genuinely made up!!
Great running, well done!
Thank you my friend!!
Fantastic Tim. Really well done. It is a fast course and the bit by the river is helpfully distracting 😀🏃♂️
It was!! Really helped!!

No probs!! Grateful for the advice. Loved the video.
Awesome time! Well done mate! You're flying!

Great to see. Was that a smooth jazz version of “If I Can’t” by 50 cent as the parkrun kicked off, or was I just imagining it? Inspired choice if so
