Horses for courses indeed. After 20 years with the same wah I just couldn't adapt to it .... The one thing that would be the icing on the cake would be if you could use the boost feature on its own(which you can't - it's a shame as the boost/line driver sounds stunning - it's on all the time on my board: it adds sparkle and life to my whole rig). Keep those videos coming: they make my day !!!
Just put one of these on lay away and can't wait to get it and play it next week. When i first demoed it i was absolutely astonished by its incredible sound and versatility. I Definitely recommend wah even over some of the Dunlop crybabys.
I've got the Fulltone Clyde Standard and this little devil has got that two toned action that really is sweet. the low, warm tone (the red) is awesome and the higher tone (yellow) is just a hair behind. the only reason I still love the Clyde is you get the very deep end of the way and the high end, ...and every degree in between. with this new very innovative wah, you have to click from low end to high end, but it's worth it. plus this work of art also has a DB boost.KUDOs to the inventor
@NoraHaidar i have the same problem too, but im going to choose this wah because it has 2 great wah souns, a built in boost, but what makes me want this the most is the inner trem pots where you can adjust the q and boost control. hope that helps
ahh our guitarist has a pair he got off ebay years ago with misfits skull motifs on them. Awesome pair, i've got the checkerboards XD this really is one of my all time favorite sounding wahs, this and the budwah i think are the ones for me!
Love that fuzz tone. Wah sounded great too. I have the Dimebag Wah and I don't like it because it has too many controls and none sound vintage. This has some flexibility and still a vintage tone to it. I like it. Again though, I love that fuzz pedal. I'm waiting for my Britbender 2 knob fuzz, MKII clone. Germanium is where it's at.

hi dude! amazing video!!! i was wondering if this wah is tone-sucking or if the hardwire bypass does a good job leaving the signal intact when the pedal is off. If the TB works great then it may well be a perfect wah and i'll have to get my hands on one...
awesome demo. i have the crybaby kirk wah and, although its a great wah, it doesnt get as wah-ee as i wud like. im stuck between this one and the morley bad horsie 2. have u tried both?

:-) nice... and just one more question - when i was rocking the crybaby mister wah/volume with the boost, i had some troubles with the boost switch... when i put ut on my pedalboard it seemed to be hard to switch the boost on because of other pedals etc etc... and this has two switches - so the best idea is probably to put your wah next to your pedalboard, away from other pedals, right? to reach both of those switches without any troubles
Also whats ur faviourte setup with this pedal when ur shreddin it up like playing a solo or something, whats ur gain and conductor u would use on the wah

That Red Fasel sounds amazing after years of using Morley Wha's I went back to try a Cry Baby I never liked the sound from the Og CryBaby when they were only one mere mortals could buy. The Pots went out a few times but I saw these variable Q wha's so I settled on the 505Q aka Swiss Army Knife Wha , It was ok but I still didn't get that tone & sweep I was looking for so I sent it back & got the CAE MC-404 Wha. I just got it haven't tried yet but by the samples this being one sold me. Oh btw thanks for the tip on the boost pot inside they don't mention that feature online nether do they sell them on Dunlop's website I had to search for it it's a real value w/the top notch parts Two Fasel Inductors & a MXR Boost designed by Bob Bradshaw. Those side buttons seem a lil wonky on a board imo how would you activate the boost if you have it where you can changed inductors or how would you activate the Inductors if you had set so you could hit the boost? Maybe I'll keep this off the board to the side. My old 70's Chrome Morley Wha Vol Fuzz - the same one Cliff Burton used is still my favorite , much better than the Bad Horsey that mil sec of lapse after you let off is annoying I've tweaked it.. The auto return is a BIG PLUS onstage and it fits better on my board than the Old Morley that's HUGH w/the thick AC Power cable running out of it. Btw those Cliff Burton Wha's they are selling now are NOTHING like the OG Morley he used it's not even chrome. But this CAE MC-404 is like having Two Wha's in One. The Switching Dial on the 505Q Wha really was subtle between settings. This thing sound very vocal & rich on the Red now time to rebuild my petal board.
I'm glad you demo'd this in front of a fuzz, but does it get along w/ ALL fuzzes that well?? I'm looking hard for a wah that won't make my Lovepedal White Dragon (Fuzz Face-based) freak out and make the hellish oscillation noise in heel-down position... w/o breaking the bank :/ Any words of wisdom? Hi Burgs, obviously you do make it sound great. I got one of those a few months' back, kept it for a little while but couldn't get it to sound as good as my old Cry Baby. To be fair it's an amazing wah but I found it lacked the warmth of my original wah =)
I have major problems with my fulltone clyde picking up local radio stations. is this a wah pedal that doesnt have this feature. all that extra circuitry help? I have heard they all pick up static, someone will figure out a digital wah I guess someday. till then my place can not use a wah

i've found myself watching less PGS vids and watching more Burgs vids. It also helps that he's a follow Australian and a working guitarist and not just a mouthpiece for a retailer
Hi! i bought this pedal some time ago, it's amazing but i found a very annoying problem, when my toe is pressing down the sound quality gets distorted even when the booster is off. Is sounds really weird andawful, does any one know how to solve this issue?=

it would be fu*&ng nice if you could put it on the run with a fulltone clyde on the road... the only "problem" that i´m having with the clyde (it´s a deluxe version) is that the "sweep range" is veeeery long and at the end of the foot (like when you go to turn the wah on) i´m having TOO MUCH NOISE and the sound response is REALY TRRREBLED but since you got used to the clyde, you start to use it without coming to the end of the range, so i can control the noise stuff,
1 Question if it's all right Does the boost work without the wah effect engaged. I was thinking of getting the MXR line booster and seeing as I want a new wah, maybe this would be the way to go? Great demo!

Man sakes alike, Burgs! Now that...that...is one magical wah pedal! Wahs can be a tricky thing. I've got an older Mister Crybaby that I favor. I also have a Boss programmable wah that is fun to play with. Oddly, I found a Snarling Dogs (Charlie Stringer) wah called the Whine-o-Wah that is really great. But the CAE that you demoed is on my "must have" list now! Burgs...there you go making me spend more money. My wife is getting tired of your vids! LOL!

Either can I, I want to be able to adjust the scoop which the dimebag wah seems it would be perfect but this crybaby sounds amazing!

can you engage the boost while the wah isn't active? I could use a signal boost to act as a buffer
