I'm a 59 year old grandma and in December 2020, because one of my three K-pop fan daughters told me Cha Eunwoo in the historical drama I watched was in Astro, I decided to check out K-Pop. One fateful Sunday I watched "All Night" and started falling in love with all the Astro boys, with a little extra love for MJ--starting when he was at the lemon tree and they showed a side view of his smile and continuing because I'm a trained soprano and his vocals are heavenly. All the Astro boys are lovable and so talented. I'm a full-fledged Aroha now, having gone from zero to having almost all of their albums and a binder with photocards and such on all of them, plus I've spent way too many hours catching up with their history and growing to love them more by watching TH-cam videos. I'd only become an Aroha a week or two before the "We Still" video was released on Christmas Eve, and this sweet and touching video was so comforting that I knew I'd found my "ultimate group." I'm a retired psychiatrist and now I'm happy to "prescribe" K-Pop in general, and my Astro boys in particular, as a lovely way to find great music to listen to, to enjoy fantastic dancing, and better still, as a way to feel connected with and enjoy interacting with not only the K-Pop idols, but with other fans--just like I'm doing now. Astro and their other K-Pop cohorts are good medicine for dealing with the stresses of life, and right now, with the isolation we all feel to some extent. Thanks for being you and making my day brighter!
OMG of you love Ballad,i really recommend you to listen/watch the color couded lyrics/performance of "you're my world" "because it's you" and "bloom".they such a beautiful lyrics and calming song. In case if you haven't heard those songs hehe. Anyway stay healthy and happy grandma ❤️❤️❤️

I’m a mama of 2 teenagers, who love Kpop. I’m was more into Kdramas and watched Eunwoo’s historical drama, Rookie Historian. I was so intrigued with the actor and down the Astro YT hole I went. I fell deep into their discography, especially their B-side ballads because I’m a sucker for those. They have given me comfort many days and love the people behind their idol image even more. Now, I can relate with my daughters and have connected with them even more over Astro, Kpop and Kdramas

My daughters are 24,27, and 31 and I watch Japanese anime with them every Sunday night via internet since they "introduced" me to anime several decades ago(two are within driving distance, one is over 1000 miles away.) They got into K-Pop in the fall but at first I didn't understand why. My husband started watching K-dramas and C-dramas this summer and I often watch with him. So I totally understand what you are saying about being able to relate with and connect with family members through enjoyment of the Korean music and dramas. My youngest daughter said that her husband told her that she " needed to stop watching those dramas because they make her want to be all romantic too much," but I don't think he was really complaining. I did recently ask my husband if he would cross the universe and open every door in the universe to get to me, like the king in "The Eternal Monarch," and he said he would, so I'm happy, lol.
We still(be with you) doesn't have much changes except the rap part and the instrumental,but still,it's so impactful and beautiful I feel warm everytime I listen to it.Thanks for being an Astro fanboy,hehe:)
